@coola: ah ah! u are sounding like a fani sympathizer! there's a difference btwn being passionate and being stupid. fani is plain dumb. he bluntly lies instead of makin an intricate web of half truths. if u hear bush's press sec scott mcclellan talkin, he can say the sky is green & purple & u'll agree! fani'll say all is well while in the background u'll see the world in flames

@Ambyz: then why does the post number increase while postin here

Let me paraphrase what he told a US newspaper in an interview 2-3 days ago in Ota... he said, "I am waiting for God to tell me to run or not to run and that God does not abandon projects halfway. 4 more years will allow what I have started to be 'anchored' ".

@coola: when will our leaders ever realize that true leaders have short, medium and long term projects. short and medium projects may be finished within thier term but they have to have put provisions so as long term projects can be continued by subsequent administrations. when will the projects in this world ever be finished?

Methinks Obj is just playing his "cunnyman's"game and relishing every moment of it.First,he,very obviously knows that a third term for him,is a mirage going by Nigeria's position in Africa which he,himself helped create. Now,with his avowed "love"for Nigeria, a second plausible option looks tenable:foist a loyalist as next presidn. Now how does he achieve this given the heavy weight contenders who happen to be his friends.Simple;throw them off guard while your own candidate enjoys a head start.Frankly this,I think is Objs game plan. But if,by a quirk of human folly he elects to stand for re.election then, his newly cultivated swagger will as sure as hell evaporate soon.Thats a promise from Nigerians.

I'm always pleased when I read Abu's and Ifedisky's posts. If I ever become president of this country, remind me to appoint you two as my official critics.

@ambyz: haba! i was expectin a ministerial appointment! ifed! hold out on ambyz offer! @ least until we r offered presidential advisors! back 2 being serious, what we r saying isnt anything anyone that is true to himself doesnt know. i just wonder how obj could become soooo disconnected with the common man's opinion. this is not like the Abatcha days when u could actually see a little grassroot support. no 1 i know has been convinced of 3rd term!

@ifed: at thisday online a poll asked of approval for the 3rd term. as of when i left 74% disapproved, 24% approved. what scares me is where did the 24% come from? the polling pool was 17k+. if obj spin doctors didnt try to fix the figures, isnt it scary if 1 out of every 4 Nigerians are happy with the status quo! abi, are more people eating the national cake than i thought?

@easyd: these Vmobile Kaduna people seem to have big problems.

U know mikky, i like d last statement u made. If we all look at it, u'll realise it's going to be a battle of d most influential next year. To me even though i'm not an obj fan, i dnt tink we have any reasonable alternative is it yerima or atiku u want me to vote for-tufiakwa infact my old folks in south africa r already tellin me n my brodas to make sure we r not in naija durin d election. Dad is a former politician n he says he does not tink tins wil go well in 2007. I sincerely do hope he's wrong

and Fani kayode will explain what he did and didn't mean to say or what he was meant to say, but interpreted wrongly, or how he was meant to ave been interpreted when he say what.

conclusion fani kayode is confused.
