I like black front like Z2, Z5P but also like colored front like XZ2P and Z3/z4 white.
Has anyone found anything else about it that makes it better choice than xz2 that will be way cheaper? |

i really hope they bring back the side mount FPS.. or implement it in the screen.
it looks ok in the latest render, but still not a huge fan of how it looks. just doesn't feel like sony to me. *shrug*
also, i don't think this will be xz3. i feel like this is gonna be xz2s or something along those lines.

I hope there is a model with 4K screen, dual cam or the single 44MP camera and on screen finger print sensor, that would be the perfect phone for me. |

If it's a slimmer version of the xz2 then it's good enough for me. I like the white version, much better than silver. Just wondering what it's USP is.

smaller battery? than XZ2? So less than 3180mAh. If it is at 3000 or 2900, that is still more than the XZ1

I have no idea.
All I know if it comes out to br trur many will celebrate and couple months later will be crying because of burn in.
So I'd rather have 3180 + lcd than maybe 2800 + oled even if both cases give same endurance.

The impact on battery life of OLED should be significant in theory but is negligible in reality compared to LCD. If we get an OLED Sony I hope they implement a proper black UI or themes because Google are causing burn in on my eyeballs. OLED technology is pretty good now that you won't need to worry about burn in. |

Black theme helps to same battery but the colour contrast between icons/background is higher when is black.
Some people wants microLED, I doubt this will ever make mobile world, only oled can give you 100% screen without giving up on IP.
Local tech site here tested battery life of XA2U and A8+ recently.
Difference in favor of Ultra was huge, more 2h SoT.
3560mAh x 3500
LCD uses same amout of power no matter if background is black, white, red etc..
Oled saves power when it is mostly black, but usrs more when mostly white.
If you check reddit, it is all same. S9, Pixel 2, iphone X all have burn in cases.
I dont deny that I am fan of acoustic surface, but lifespan is more important to me.
