Let's hope they believe that they have something very special to show, because that would explain the high level of security. Personally, I'd just rather see some leakage.

maybe sony's crackdown on leaks did work or perhaps people do not have any incentive to leak sony's phones, would rather leak apple or samsung.

Leaks are deliberate, it creates interest and helps with market research. The Pixel 3 on the train is so obvious, you would never risk these things if it was seriously under wraps. The one example where things went wrong was when the iPhone guy lost his in the bar and it showed up online. |

Their photo tool has samples already.
Something is weird, bit weaker than XZP.
Difference in favor of XZ2 is huge.
Not sure if the chart was not far enough from the phone.
Bit blurry to me.
Check the Spongebob or the donkey.

What's funny is the low light picture in the Spongebob and tomato area looks better than the good light section on the XZ2P. Looks like it's an unfortunate case of the phone not properly focusing the entire scene for the image they used. Oh well. In the GSM low light comparison the XZ2P does very, very well. |

Ha there is slightly more noise in the iso50 from the xz2p vs the xz2 at iso80, referring to the good light photo. As for the low light photo, not really a direct comparison, the iso are different, as is the shutter speed. Honestly prefer the XZ2 photos hands down.
With that, I feel single camera is the way to go for the next device. If sony can bump the aperture to f1.8 on the xz3/xz2s then it should be a decent performer for photos.

If you check all samples of photo tool, no device beats xz2.
I agree, must be focus issues probably.
I heard that when dual cam is working the focus is bit slower.
But it does not go ON unless the low light icon shows up.
I have seen samples and even xz2 humiliates u12.
And u12 is much better than note 9.

Do you think the possibility of camera on XZ3 will be different from XZ2 is high or low ?
IMO it would be ridiculous if SONY don't make them different.

Is it possible GSM force the phone use dual cam in good light. We all know dual cam is really just for taking good night photo.
I think XZ3 camera won't be much different from XZ2 in terms of quality. Not much different if they use 7 layers lens |

When you go to manual an turn it on, base ISO is 200.
