I was being told by CPW my X1 won't be arrive on monday but actually i placed my order on thursday. I am getting a bit annoy now as other member can get the phone on saturday but I have to wait longer! |

wow! I'm holding my k610 now, cant beleive a phone as powerful as the x1 would be so small

while having the iphone I've had the TyTN II and the Diamond so I have no hesitation to say iphone AND X1. you just can't beat the iphone for entertainment value

i had a good long think about the iphone but just think its missing too much to be "the one". It does seem like a bit of fun - but not the one i'd like to settle down with... |

@YouZi, no free memory cards included but I'm glad because if there were, it would just be removed and replaced by my 16gb card anyway

Hi masseur,
easy questions, is the software that you used on the TyTnII imei dependent?
In other words, will you need to contact the software company to egt a new registration code?
I think I read that you will not install all as before but I cant find where,
I am thinking X1, HTC Touch HD or BB Storm, and I know I don;t use the keyboard on my TyTnII.
So I am interested to know how the keyboard of the X1 feels for you.

WM software is generally keyed by owner name rather than IMEI and so all my software that I have used since way back when installs fine on the X1 as long as I set the owner name the same, and since thats my first name thats easy!
so far I'm happy to report that all the preinstalled panels are quick and yes, the keyboard is very easy to use, probably easier than on the TyTN II actually

I have checked forums all around the net for tweaks or other ways to get BB Connect for WM 6.1 to work with the X1 (have borrowed an X1 for the week-end). Whatever I try I can't make it work!
Anyone that has been successful?
If not then it's bye bye X1 and hello Blackberry Bold (I have no choice but to use BES).
