hi i was wondering does the latest firmware for w800 still has that hissing noise

If you're referring to the Walkman player hissing noise, then yes. Mine had that problem since R1NA005, and it's still present after updating to R1BC002.
I sent my phone to a service center because of this. |

i saw in the first page that with last version, we can zoom pictures largest than 1632 large, and 1224 tall.
for me, the phone is upgraded, but it can't zoom them
it can zoom onely untill this size, biger than, nooooo.

I think I can zoom 1632x1224 pictures (taken by the phone) and not larger than that. I have transferred a 5mp picture to the phone and I can view it but can't zoom it. |

When at work, i don't carry a USB cable to transfer files. Instead i use a usb bluetooth on the PC and my phones bluetooth. I had no problems so far. I updated to the last firmware 2 days ago. Since then, when i copy files of some size from the pc to the phone, the phone sometimes performs some kind of reset. The screen gets black, the bluetooth conection is lost and i get no responce for 3-4 seconds and then it starts again by itself, without asking me for a pin number. It just gets alive, and starts locating the provider's signal. I 've had this problem twice till now.

yea i guess above the regular size.. K750 cannot zoom into it. tho it can be viewed.
@Alex_Under
dude ive experienced that a couple of times.. tho not with this firmware.. with R1AA. its kinda like a hiccup... i even use MyPhoneExplorer to view my files.. thos sumtimes while viewing the Monitor Menu on MPE.. the phone suddenly freezes and do that hiccup thing... strange really.. tho it doesnt happened all the time.

Out of interest, how long typically does it take the like of Davinci & Total Multi Server to upload the newer firmwares after SE have released them for SEUS?
I'm running the W800 firmware on my K750 at the moment. SEUS of course says no update available, which I assumed would be the case.
Say I wanted to get back on the K750 firmware with ability to update on SEUS, by me loading K750 R1AA008 from TMS, would SEUS then work to get me to R1BC002?
Cheers,
Rastus.

I updated my W800 converted K750 using SEUS and now I have a funny mix of both. Startup screen says Walkman and it says W800 everywhere in the phone and when connected to a computer. Lost the Walkman player though so I hope Davinci releases the new firmware soon.
Noticed I can now use my phone at work which I could not before. The reception was so bad that people never heard me talk. Now though I've been receiving a few calls without any problems.
So I'll be enjoying the better reception until I get the W800 firmware again.

I updated to R1BC002 of my K750i! EMEA_6!
However, at the end of it, it proceeded to keep restarting once I inserted the sim back and switched my phone on!
What happens is
-> Phone turns on
-> Catches the n/w
-> 5-7 secs then turn off
Repeats this over and over! Any suggestion as to how to revert back to either R1A008, which did NOT gimme a problem or to stop this from happening! Really really irritating as I can't use my phone! |

I've had this problem once on R1AA008.

Updated the first post with the m4a tag reading bug. Thanks to johny_dmonic.
Noted that the zoom issue on >2MP photos is under dispute at the moment . I don't suppose it is a memory issue is it - i.e. if you have lots of free phone memory you can zoom into the larger pictures, but if not then you can't? I'd try it myself, but I haven't got R1BC myself yet. |

Does R1BC read M4A tags on your phone?
If I have made a mistake in the first post, pelase let me know. Sometimes it's quite tricky knowing exactly what bugs have been fixed / introduced or features added when you don't actually have the firmware yourself, and people disagree with one another as to what is and what isn't fixed |
