@moqud
Mine and a few other peoples came from Expansys (their first few batches) and I don't think any of us have had any problems with availability of SEUS updates. Updates on SEUS always show up as "Generic World". |

@Jah
My P990i picks up my wifi at home ok and says connected, but when trying to access web - no page is displayed?
Do you think its my WLAN settings or my router?
ihave inserted my WEP key too.
@Voda Users, anyone accessed the Sky Package Mobile Video section?

Many reasons why this is but i beleive the common ones would be: -
1) Power save, the unit needs to renegotiate the connection after a small timeout
2) Have you check to ensure the router is dishing out an IP to the phone? Being connected is not enough and think of the wireless as being just another transport medium (well it is actually!).

Finally got the 990 this morning. It is from vodafone and has its start up page buy does not have voda sticker on front of phone,(GOOD).
It is great so far except I cannot seem to connect to the internet via wi-fi. It scans and finds my wireless network, but when I try to connect it asks what account to connect to and the only one which works is called Vodafone Internet another one called Internet which is the one I would rather use gives the responce cannot find server.
anyone have any ideas about how I can connect without involving Vodafone, because i heard they charge you for that luxury per MB |

Don't know if you can go straight to an app but you can change the today-screen to the shortcut-screen.
Press the setting-symbol when in the today-app(like a wrench(??spelling??) )

You need to associate your WIFI account with one of the connection groups. Thats what its asking you.
So, say the "Internet" group is polulated with the "Contract Internet" account. Add the Wifi account to this group and set it priority of 1 so that if that fails, it falls back to the GPRS connection.

Theres something pretty drastic wrong if it doesn't display the MAC in WLAN -> MAC address. Don't know what but I'd get it sorted!

Lets say i am on my contacts list page. Instead of scrolling down to find a contact, or choosing the find option, can i not just press the keyboard letter corresponding to the first letter of the contact i need to bring me to the beginning of those names? I am trying to do this but it does not work.
Thanks

Works for me in flip closed and flip open mode. Just goto the contacts list and type a few letters of the name.

The Sky Sports news and Sky News + Factual Package and Entertainment package for Voda customers need to subscribe to the services on the P990i and then the charges will be deducted from their bills if its given to them for free. Thats what i've been told by Voda on 191.
However, i have just done this for the entertainment package and i was watching sky one on my phone without an issue but then i subscribed to the Sky Sports and News package and i cannot view them in the list at all?
I can only see the Entertainment package channels!
Anyone else tried this?

It's so stupid! Why have no one figured this out? You know the problem with setting the starting page in the browser!
I can't understand why I or any of you havn't figured this out before?!
lol...
You can set any page you want as a new shortcut. Just remove the "Web" and make a new one where you write in the adress you want!
We are so stupid!!!
lol
