They're delicious, especially in the coastal area, because you'll get the freshest there.
When we're visiting friends at the coast, eating a "rauwe haring" is usually the first thing we do

Out of myself,Hans and my brother I am the only one who wouldn't try it as I didn't like Sushi anyway I much prefer my fish and meat cooked and hot 
He was at first sceptical but then he loved it. In Amsterdam he had 2 lots before lunch I loved the home made quiche Sas made lovely.

Just over £100 not that cheap it seems it's cheaper to fly from say Luton. We flew with Flybe a cheap cramped aircraft was like sardines inside. It had propellers not jet engine sounded like a WW2 plane. I flew to Budapest for cheaper with Easy Jet for £56 return. But Hans kindly put us up in the Hans Hotel
