IMX300 had been use on flagship for 1 year then it go to the mid range. IMX400 also has been use for 1 one year since the XZs.
Would be happy to see IMX500 this year's IFA.

Name of the sensor isn’t that important. But since they already made the imx600 for Huawei I guess it would make sense to call it imx700, otherwise it sounds inferior. Not sure why they used that number for the Huawei one when they usually use the round hundred numbers for their own flagship sensors.
The camera does look quite large based the onleaks render, though I couldn’t tell if it was larger than XZ2 or the same. |

XZ reminds me of LG chocolate. XZ2 of U11+.
As long as they do not do it based on iPhone.
XA2+ will be released on wednesday in Taiwan, in case someone here wants the device.

I think the Dual Cam is already the new CMOS.
Back in the old days, they use new CMOS for camera upgrade. Than XZ2P put a new Dual Cam setup which is a new, massive upgrade. So, I don't expect they release a new IMX but looking forward for putting the Dual Cam into mainstream flagship.
Well, to be frank, I really don't care for hardware. They already get the best of the best. I hope they can really improve the software. |

I very much would like to get a XA2+. It reminds me of the Xperia Ray.
But the fps seems to be a little too high
XZ2 Premium is like an Xperia Ion, and the new rendering looks like the T.

Looks pretty much like an XZ with smaller top and bottom bezels.

You mean this one. It seems come from Reddit so I don't really trust it.
