Thanx for ya notions @ all, but left to say, there's nothing on the horizon in "my" size-range.
Is 3,5"-4" really so/to exotic?? Can't understanding this "gigantism".

Not to worry. Current minimum is 4" for Sony's upcoming phones, but we still don't have info on anything that would have such size. But if you're living in a developing country, most likely anywhere in South East Asia or India which is a large market for Sony, you might get treated with a phone with a smaller display. This is if what Kunimasa Suzuki said would be as interpreted.

@cableguy

That's fine. We got the specs, pricing and date of announcement anyway.

Sony really need to fix this bullshit with their displays. Why do different regions have different quality LCD's? for the XZ? And they REALLY need to fix viewing angles, the poor viewing angles just look ugly. You have a clean black slate when the screen is off, and then when you turn the screen on, what should appear black, turns into grey and all the contrast is lost. What's the point of building such a fantastic looking device, filled with top features etc. and then finishing it off with a mediocre display. Given that the display is the main point of interaction for a smartphone it is incredibly disappointing.

That's maybe because of the Sony version and Sony "Ericsson" version so different display types
Just maybe

I'm not sure I follow. There is no Sony Ericsson, only Sony.....Some Z's have Sharp displays and some have lower quality JDI displays. In any case, its been a problem for a while with SE/Sony. My Ray has a similar problem, except instead of washing it, anything white turns yellow/orange and other colours shift in a similar fashion.

No high end phones until September as far as I know. The 6" phablet will hit the market sooner, around June/July and should be the first Sony phone with Snapdagon 800 SoC. The Z is selling extremely well and Sony does not have a reason to release another flagship any time soon.

How much longer will it sell extremely well for? Want to know why the trolls are not trolling this thread so hard? It's because they are fantasizing about the S4. The average person will go for that over the Z unfortunately.

However, wherever I go in London, I see advertisements for the Z. When an undecided buyer sees them both, they will go for the Z on design alone. Maybe enough has been done to ensure it sells well.

I think Sony should release the next flagship earlier and take a massive bite out of the S4 marketshare. It will if they do.

Will these flagships have remote play? From what I've been reading the S800 SoC is a big improvement over the S4 Pro and should also help offer nearly double the battery life since its cores switch off when not needed...

As someone mentioned before:
The company take more than a year make a phone
So xperia z was planned by SE but Sony could make some changes like:
The design(I think)
The display in some version(u can see some versions with a Sharp display)

What I mean is the ",REAL," first Sony flashgips should be in h2

Just a thought xD

Will the "RX" be water/dust resistant though ? LoL Sounds like the twin flagship will be just like Z an ZL, hard to choose between the two. I can only hope the 2014 flagship is a loner.
