I have a week 42 black model, i have scratched keys that i can live with, occasionally the ear piece fails but it’s strange as it will only stop working say one time in every 20 calls i make and the next call it will be fine.
The other problem that has just arisen is the same as someone else mentioned, the down cursor button has gone stiff, its hard to press and just doesn’t feel right :-s and thats the most annoying thing.
I have no slider wobble at all, and the camera slider works perfectly sits tight and will only come down with effort.
I’m thinking about taking it back, but worried that if i swap it i will end up with a load of other problems like the slider wobble etc, plus will have to re-brand again, so not sure if i should just learn to live with it really.

Shocker, as in either got stuck, or even fell off at one end

Just a quick note to say that Ive had my c905 (black) for some time now and have to agree with the poster above that its one of the best phones Ive ever owned. I love it.
To all the people complaining about the slider movement. A fraction of a mm movement can hardly be called a fault and a reason to return the phone. Sliders by their very nature are prone to this. Some will be worse than others.
You'll be hard pressed to find many sliders (SE or otherwise) without some kind of movement so my advice would be to simply ignore it and accept it as a fact of life. Even a slider phone that is stiff when new WILL losen up over time when being constantly opened and closed and having the buttons on the top of the slider pressed down.
Anyway back to my original point for posting. The c905 is awesome, dont be put of by the faults on here and remember that this is the place people come to when they have issues. The vast majority of c905's are perfect. Mine included

@MWEB
That's what I thought. Build quality doesn't seem that reliable on N units these days, or so I've heard.

I'm loving mine now, we went out for a drive and I had it in the window (in a great phone holder I got from Woolworths for 60p), the GPS works perfectly when in motion, using amAze and google.. wayfinder is utter wank, doesn't to tracking, just directions, shit UI, shit software!
Anyway I'm posting to say I'm really happy with it now, I'm a little less precious about it and have learnt its limits as far as chucking it about. It's a hardy little beast and even though I've dropped it and keep it in my pocket it doesn't feel like it's gonna break any time soon if I carry on my reckless ways.
So there!

talk about speaking too soon!
just got up and my foot caught in the charger cable, plugged into my phone... landed on the floor and argh, the slider was stuck open (was closed when it fell).. gave it a firm push and it clunked back to closed, phew. It's fine.

It is an awesome phone which makes its faults all the more disappointing.
A Dpad cant be that hard to design, yet somehow SE managed to stuff it up.
I got a replacement for my broken C905 and it feels a hell of a lot better constructed but UP on the dpad feels stiffer than the rest. Its not an issue at the moment but I have no doubt that it will completely stuff up like my previous C905 after I put some heavy use onto it.
SE should have used the same DPAD found in the C702.
Anyway, I hope SE recognise the fault and make a fix available and improve the dpad on future C905s. |

has someone compare your pics with other 8Mp Cam from Samsung (I mean boastful of Pixon and InnoV8)
I heard that SS got better quality from some review.
