when I turn off the phone, the settings I've made for the external screen goes away. For example I chosed a picture instead of using the theme I selected, when I turned on the phoned it had changed back to the theme settings. Does any one else have the same problem?

Got a few more gripes actually:
1) When setting my 'input language' to English when typing text, it always defaults back to Dutch on the next message. Why won;t it stick to English after a while? Even myZ600 could do that
2) nevermind, just got it
3) I can change things like themes and tones in 3 or 4different locations in the menu. Bit overdone......I don't need that many links to the same place. I wonder what inspired them to make it like that?
4) Can't get it to dial in to my ISP email server to get my mail. bastid!
Nothing else so far... functioning of the phone is really good imho.

Looks like thats a Dutch thing, I can download my email from IMAP and POP, I dont use any other language so cant help you out there. And my external picture stays the same even after I reboot the phone.
P.s I dont think you guys should report anymore horror stores as "o2" is starting to sweat and I can see the same question being asked a few times....
Hey O2 all is well on the ranch go out and buy one, every phone will come out with a few bugs and thats why we have firmware updates.... |

@Vlamm it looks like its just me and you on this V800 thread...Early adoptors hey. Well its all good.. I cant wait for the white case to come out and by the looks of things it looks like just a little force will do the job to remove the cover and a tad bit of glue... |

the new firmware might be on the way.... but even if som1 wud get a V800 a month later frm 2day.. they r still stuck with the old ones and still requires to go and get themself an updated firmware.... unless they r kind enough to update some of the phones in their stock... |

they obviously cannot update firmware of phones still in stock, because they'd have to break the seal to open the box to take out the phone.... and so on and so forth.
And I personally wouldn't accept a phone from an already-opened box.
Wake up o2! You could've figured that yourself
And if I may say so, for someone who's about to spend 420 GBP on a phone, you seem terribly unconvinced you will even like it. Why are you buying it?
Themarques, yes I notice how there aren't too many posters in this thread. There's a few more esato members who have it, but they appear awfully quiet.
Still, from what I gather from the store where I got mine, it is selling rather well and at least fro that branch definitely outselling any other voda model at this moment.
But the Nokia is about to be released over here... so that might still change....

Iīve had my V800 for about a week now and I think itīs a great phone. Many similarities with the K700i but itīs not a problem for me couse I had a T610 before so it was about time I upgraded to this one! My girlfriends got the K700i (guess who talked her in to buy one ) so I knew the menus quite well before I got my V800. Vodafone hadnīt messed up the phone as much as I thought. Iīm pleased with the phone so far and I think Iīll keep it for a while. |

Hello everyone!
I just got the V800 but i noticed something strange. When the phone moves (for example i walk with it), i have some horizontal line on the screen. It's like problem with frequency of the display. You can see it better when you have black background. Is it normal? Does anyone else noticed that? Or should i have me phone repaired? |
