What happened to the AT&T TL? Everyone's bashing it.
(I personally felt it was way to busy on the side and especially the back. Definitely no buy)
Still...hope it does well enough so carriers will pick up the next Xperias.
Now is kind of a downtime as we wait for the 2013 models so...

OMG most gorgeous laptop ever. First truly good looking Windows machine.
Hopefully Vaio can take design cues from this. They are still in the f-king stone-age.
Sorry guys I just love bashing Vaio cause they can do Sooo much better.

It does indeed look nice, but I kind of like the hard-edged aesthetic of the newer Vaios.
I can't wait to see what they have store for CES next year, with regards to both phones, TVs and Notebooks. |

Since this is a rumours thread, is it possible to keep financial results, market share and all that sort of talk, in a separate thread?
Before Sony announced their results last week, there were pages of people guessing number of units sold, and every now and again, stats for what devices are selling most pop up, like the tablet one above.
Im probably being a little picky, but im sure im not alone on this one. It is, in the end, the 'rumours' thread...

If we talk only about rumor's then this forum would be so dead and inactive.We need to keep talking everyday something related to Sony mobile/tablet.[It can be screen,UI,SoC,Updates,shipping,finance,camera etc],
I guess we should be allowed to only talk about mobile and tablet here and other topics[TV,DSLR..] should be discussed in other forum.
We hardly get rumor's every month just before some event we see some leaks,rest of the time its quite in here.
we can't create separate forums for each minor topics.

I'm in for Dogo. I don't think Xperia V will be out anytime before December. I can easily wait for 2 more months for a better hardware and screen size.

Dogo is not water/dust resistant. It's Japanese equivalent model is. There is no info on any global water/dust resistant Xperia phone for 2013 yet.

The November FCT column is Forecast. Q2 figures are the number of units sold - 8.8 million. FCT 34 million is the full year forecast. |

FCT = forecast.
You can see in the FY2011 - 2012 comparison for more info on the unit sales. Aug FTC/Nov FCT are forecast figures. |

You can double-check by going through those financial statements and deduce the actual figure from the adjusted forecasts.

I'm with you on this, of the last 10-15 pages I think I've only read 20-30 posts and looked at pictures. In 6 years of visiting this thread have I never been so disinterested. I could cope with talk about features rumoured for other brands and different technologies even if they aren't directly rumoured for Sony devices, because t's not good to have Apple-style blinkers on one brand's tech, but I'm struggling to link financials with rumours.
