Its annoying the branding on the O2 phones. It doesnt need to be as bad as it is. Start-up and shut down customization doesnt bother me or replacing the Playnow with an O2 link but replacing both Playnow and Internet with O2 links and disabling the flash menues is annoying.

Yeah I was amazed when i got myphone here:
that it had 2 links to 02's homepage..
I hope they don't start this with all there phones cos it might get far fetched just like Vodafone
sorry heres a better photo...
so the 02 W880i's are like that then?

Yeah, basically the same. I had an O2 branded black K800i that only had one O2 link (replacing the playnow link).

Still tho they should leave the playnow links alone,
it's abit mad having 2x Internet icons on a phone then theres the side options aswell what were they thinking of at the branding centre's

Had a hold of a W880 dummy today, tbh I think the key pad is awful (for me anyway!) I found it impossible to press an individual key without 2 clicking down at the same time, my fingers arnt that fat! honest |

thats strange to read. I've had no problem with the keys at all.
I'd say I have average sized fingers for a guy

Hi there, i recently upgraded to the w880 from the w810, and im real happy with it. I did like many stuggle with the key at first, but iv'e got used to them now and rarely press a wrong button.
Can anybody help me delete the demos and protected files on the fone?
Also has any body had any problems with the recent calls list not logging calls?
I had that problem carried out a factory reset and all seems fine now!
One last thing, at the bottom of the list in walkman mode it says "onl channels" which i assume is online channels, what exactly is this and how do i use it?
Thanks. |

Are the keys as terrible as this preview article suggests?

We hope this is only a temporary design experiment for the company and doesn't become their standard key style.

No they ain't as bad as that review makes out.
They might take a few long messages to get used to but once used to them thhey are fine and easy to use.
Now i dont know if this is common knowledge but i found that k800i games work on my W880i, i was wondering do ya think k800i themes will also work, or am i clutching at straws? |

Yea they work, but for some reason the "highlight" bar in some of the themes are small in width, and do not cover the whole menu. |
