Supposedly its in testing with 3uk right now and should be out. But thats what they said about the w900 aswell.
A CPW rep was telling me today that there expecting it in the 1st or second weeks of may. |

I think the P990 will have this 3.2 cam, just a prediction though, thats why they releasing the K800 first then the P990 so it doesnt steal the K series standards...
So how wud we know which country will be getting which phone?? I want a K800 but what if we only get the K790?

Im pretty sure the p990 is a 2mp camera. However the rumoer is that he delay is becasue of SE improving the camera module. |

Because when hey say there making imrpovments i think it means there fixing the actual module and not just slinging an extra 1.2 mp in ther. Plus the most recent whitepaper says 2mp.
Anyway back to the k800, i called up Vodafone today seeing as there normaly pretty clued up with new phones. The said there expecting the first batch of k800i's to arrive in the first week of may so I guess an early release is on the way.
Interestingly they will be getting the Samsung z710 the same week. |

Yes i know. Voda cant give an exact date but they said they should have most of their stock by the 2nd week of May. CPW said the same -2nd week of may. |

so..with the k800 or 790 being 3g and edge respectively...which networks will they be available on...in the uk?
Im on 02 and was expectin to get the k800 as an upgrade, but then i thought...02 dnt do 3g do they?...can you get edge on 02?

On most markets only one of the phones will be sold, so in UK you probably will only find K800.

O2 do have 3g.. 
@ bavlondon2 - yeah its a good picture, but it still doesnt look as good as one id expect taken by a K750i. All the pictures so far from the P990i look poorer in colour realism, appear more blurred and less sharp.
I understand SE wouldnt give the phone the best optics, because its not its primary function.

yea i agree with etaab there... but can we take out the idea that SE is planning to upgrade the camera module to the one like in S700.
maybe planning to steal the show perhaps...

I think this phone is goig to get some stiff competition frmo Nokia. Check the specs for the n93 and n73. 3.2 mp cam with auto focus and dvd quality uncompresed capture. Adobe premier mobile elements built in. |
