We've just had it confirmed that Sony Ericsson will be part of the Sony stand at CES 2012. Mark 9 January 2012 @ 5pm local time (1am GMT; 2AM CET) in your diary -Xperia Blog

I don't mind hosting the 2012 thread again of course, however it would be nice to see what Ricky D will do with it given the chance.

I heard from a friend in R&D in China that Sony are working on a 21MP handset  note Sony not Sony Ericsson.
OK, I'd like to host it next year so with everyone's blessing I will start the new thread this week.
If anyone has any objections speak now before it's too late.

That`s stupid... I hope Sony will put some effort on beter optics and picture quallity rather than super pixel count that doesn`t bring anything to customers, except eating their free space.
It`s time for new treat, so no objection. |

Sony's actually very capable of engineering superior optic/sensor combinations (In fact, they're one of the largest suppliers of imaging sensors.), they're just ridiculously incapable of getting the images processed right. Just look at the 2011 Xperia phones vs the iPhone 4S. Or the A55 versus the Nikon D7000. It's a software issue that Sony still has yet to really overcome (among things, Sony's noise reduction algorithm is one of the biggest attributes at fault). |

 sure knows how to confuse us.So LT28 is an LT26 and 4.55" screen,instead of 4.3"?Or does it come with a better processor(msm8260a instead of msm8260) as well?If i am not mistaken,we have yet to see LT28 benchmarks?CES this year will shed a lot of light to what is planning...Last year,we already knew exactly the specs of xperia arc/play and we also knew that was going to use the same processor on all its product lineup. |
