Yes Samsung do produce good build maybe i over said things regarding LG. But in my experience every LG i have either had or handled have been solid. Except my Viewvy which is fine all over except the back cover which is shaky and does not fit very flush with the phone. It moves around alot. Though i love SE i can name more SE phones than Nokia or anyone else with poor build.

I agree, Samsung is indeed good quality build but LG not so much.

Latest Renoir/cookie has improved things further, the build on my C905 and C702 is certainly above average though.

I believe that the LG has grown a lot in the last times, theirs latest phones have an excellent build quality, for example a Viewty is very different compared to a Renoir in most of aspects.

What gets me about SE is this. If it takes them so long to actually release a phone model then why such poor quality control. And you would think they would 'concentrate' on each model if it takes so long. Concentrate on attention to detail build quailty and software. Really vigorously testing and testing and not be satisfied until its done. Its simply not good enough really is it. Same goes for LG their quality control is fairly poor in that their phones have poor hardware.

Perfect phone:
- SE/Samsung functionality
- SE software
- Nokia reliabilty
- LG build quality

Anything else anyone wants to add?

Yeah i was just kidding. Motorola make very crude camera phones. Their 5 mega pixel model seems to have gone unnoticed by the public despite having Kodak name although Kodak are not the best for picture quality anyway.

Actually I'd have to say samsung digital cameras are worse. Not the Innov, which is actually very good for a camera phone.

Kodak cameras are solid performers with better than average quality. The reason they are not so popular is that they are ugly and the interface is ugly. However their controls are intuitive and they have good feature sets.

Kodak were one of the first camera makers to include aspheric glass lenses in their range. They aren't very exciting, but they are often innovative in the important areas. Kodak have been making cameras for many years and they have a lot of experience in camera manufacture.

@mistamatrix, true that the Samsung OS is boring and inflexible.

I'll have to have a closer look. Actually I've never sussed out the Innov, I'm keen to see what Samsung have done with s60.
