@sarmad
and it has been released!! he he. Good work mate. As you mentioned ISO by itself is rather useless on a cell phone camera but it is extremely useful when it is combined with shutter speed. This is the single functionality that attracted me to SPU's drivers that allowed AE lock using ><>< then locking ISO then setting shutter speed. this way you know what ISO speed is going to be reflected where as with other drivers the pic will look really good on your phone but will be terribly grainy on the computer because of an ISO spike. Even though this option is available on SPU drivers it is still not 100% fool proof and reliable because if the snap is underexposed to cam ignores the ISO lock and spikes the ISO. Raider is trying to figure out this issue so that we can have a way of truly locking the ISO.

yep, thats why I honestly didn't put much time into looking at it, and I might take it out in the final version.. (remember its just a beta right now).. but for now, its in there upon the request of a few to be honest though, i don't think its that useful, and so I probably won't be implementing an ISO lock or anything like that.. I like to keep things simple, and I think the present functions with the supermode stuff in the hybrid driver is as far as I'm going to go..

ahh, I forgot to put in the right piece of code.. its because of the remnants of the half-shutter zoom preview thing that is available on the regular mode side.. even if that doesnt make sense, thanks for spotting this!
here's an updated link with the bugfix.. it should show up as 9.92 (the first link was 9.91)

the original post has also been edited as well.

yes, if youre in low light conditions, then enhanced mode (and enhanced night mode) will get you a much better and less-noisy picture! in my driver, when macro mode is enabled, it will still scan the full range, so it will still be able to properly focus distant objects as well.
as for the "super" mode, macro mode will not turn on enhanced mode.. it will only do what it usually does, enable macro scanning.. supermode is meant for those users who want to manually adjust settings themselves.. so if you want EN/ENM, then play with the Shutter speed, etc. I believe Raiderski's driver has an EN feature with the shutter speed value at 1.1, but mine does not.. it has full manual shutter speed.. if you want the fixed EN/ENM setting, then just use the regular mode.

what do you mean? image filtering? filtering is fully automatic - disabled in normal mode, enabled in night mode
qerote
when you use MXE then you don't have to set anything, just plugin and have fun. besides, functions are blocked by some kind of mechanism when MXE is connected - you can only modify function at EV 0.0 (i remind that exchange of EV functions in the driver exists)
pikszel
currently it doesn't matter which sharpness value driver use because of disabled filtering in no-nightmode. nightmode is different story, i have to check how saturation and sharpness can affect on quality and probably i will do small changes in next version
amarsidhu
nope, because you need 1.1 and someone else need 1.0 one click at '+' after camera open isn't hard
sarmad
welcome in supermode world
