Yep it use pure gold for both inside stuff and volume notch.
But gold is not really the best for audio lol.

Can the bokeh strength be adjusted like background defocus?
I think pics looks nicer when you cannot see anything behind. |

I am not fan of design, at least is better than xz2.
If this premium is the last with lcd, I need it.
Burn in is much more often on QHD than full hd phones.
Imagine 4K ....

My feeling is that the XA2 Plus will be at IFA or some sort of variant, XA3 range would show up at the end of the year. I think the early announcement of the XA2 Plus was to build interest in the design, curved screen etc. As for the flagship or flagships, lots of mixed reports. Some are very confident that it will be the XZ2P with a downgraded screen while others believe it will be a single camera with the new design. My dream would be that the new design shows up even if it has a single camera and even better if its the Compact with single camera while the main gets dual camera. Changing my phone after IFA, XZ2 line is a lot cheaper now but I've got my fingers crossed for the leaked renders.
On a side note, the Note 9 is great but I see a lot of Note 8 users not willing to change but instead wait for the Note 10 not because they're not impressed, purely down to the price of upgrading. Its mind boggling that there is no competitor to the Note series. I used to have the G900 with stylus on the 2 inch screen, surely the XA2 Ultra could hold a stylus somewhere and just have it a a remote with pause/play buttons and see how that goes.

My bet is on this:
XR4:next year's flagship sensor is basically the same IMX400 but with a lower aperture most likely 1.8 no mention of OIS yet but that doesn't mean it won't feature just no info on it yet.
But I agree with you regarding design. I would buy Y concept design with single camera over anything. |

Is Sony going to change much stuff on android 9?
Buks says the xz2 series in late october/november and XZp/ xz1 in 2019
I think the imx586 is for Oppo.
R17 Pro will use 3 rear.

a few days ago, someone mentioned the new device at IFA is NOT named XZ3.
Does anyone have any idea or guess what it would be then?

To be honest I would be surprised if it was called XZ3, as it would be a break from tradition and makes the XZ2 instantly feel more out-of-date based on the name alone. So not sure where that name rumour started/why it caught on. XZ2s Or XZ2 Pro would make more sense. The only thing that adds weight to it being XZ3 is that it seems like a fairly significant redesign.
Regarding IMX 586, probably won't be exclusive to a single OEM. I can see LG using it for the V40 since they already implemented pixel binning on the G7, but with 12mpx so was not so good, so they would benefit from this a lot. Then again LG seem to have a habit of using old sensors  |
