dohh... ok, because some people here molest my person about additional functions i will add them. you have to know that some of them will be unavailable in original driver form and you will have to customize EV functions structure to enable them... are you happy now?
- saturation (available in EV)
- brightness (unavailable in EV)
- contrast (unavailable in EV)
and maybe:
- ISO (i don't know yet), some tests have to be done. besides why should i put ISO control? is this really useful? shutter speed and exposure control can do mess in ISO setting... so... why should i do this?

@Raiderski
You are right. We dont need contrast and brightness because we already have exposure (exposure=contrast+brightness). In my opinion, ISO is somehow useful for everyone for a long time(those with digital camera) since it helps the pictures to get more correct exposure (ISO100-400). But i dont know whether it affects the other settings on our phone or not so maybe we can try ^.^ Looking forward to your new driver with new functions. Thank you.

sarathk: May I wrong, but if you flashed it, you have still original camdriver...just from different firmware.
Rather don't ask what is the best camdriver...it's up to you, what you prefer. Anyway, you can try for example sarmad 5.7, Kriomag 21.9(1), SPU 1.3 beta9, Raiderski 6.4 or 6.5...
Original camdrivers...I don't know what is your original firmware and phone, but I have some original camdrivers (w800i/k750i) on my page in my signature (look down) from a few firmwares. Enjoy
Nowadays, I'm enjoying Elm, fw R7BA076. And here camdriver database for k750/w800/w810: www.camdrivers.wz.cz |

Sorry for my english. Thanks!

if you have 6.5 TEST3 .zip archive then in readme.txt is table (under point 7) with shutter speed values. if you set zoom 1.2 - 4.0 then corresponding shutter speed values will be enabled and you can see what effect this gives - just press and then free snapshot button to enable shutter speed preview, press it again to disable preview

@raiderski
Thanks far all. I suppose that 1/5000 is the fastest speed but when I set the zoom at 1.2, I press the snapshot and the preview is completely dark. When I left the button the image is OK and I take a shoot but the picture is also dark.

Hello everyone. After a long time trying to compose Sarmad's driver and Raiderski's driver, I am now happy to post A4A v3.8. Here is the link:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/57nvux
I think it is difficult to explain how good/bad it is since it is up to you point of view. Just give it a try and it wont hurt your phone Please read guide.txt for more details. My suggestion: always use macro on and fine quality. If you have any problem please tell me I will try to fix it. Thank you.

yep, 1/5000s is really fast and only very good light conditions (sunny day light) can handle this and give quite good picture

@Raiderski
why every time must set filter on after a shot if I change shot options ?
I think the filtering is better to enable with macro on/off
can do it?

OK, I see... well, I try it tomorrow because we're at night in Barcelona.
Only a question more... if I want to take a picture inside a bar, discotheque... with MXE-60, which parameters do I have to put?
Thanks for all again, I'm grateful for you.

Szia,
i think, for CID36 sonycam (on CID49 board) is enough value 5 in close-up but landscape needs 6.
What about sharpen on EV shift? (spu)
another thing. the mxe60 flash only on dim light. possible to control the function:? 1. always to flash
2. standby
?

Saturation! Very useful option to get either mild soothing shots or rich vivid contrasty shots. Glad your including this... I don't much care for bright or contr...

@raiderski: can we do one thing that whenever we open the camera application the EV 0.0 is already set to 1.1 not 1.0 because most of the time I/we click images out of autofocus area.
And yes adding saturation is a real good idea bro.

Sarmad Hybrid Driver - BETA
A lot of people asked me to include "supermode" functions, but I've always liked the simplicity of point-and-shoot drivers without messing with settings.. so, I think we've found a compromise with this driver.
It IS in beta, so there might be some bugs but I wanted to release it to see what people think!
Full instructions and info are available in the zip archive, but here's the main points:
- Changes to the JPEG quantizers / compression values.
- Tried to fix MXE-60 sync issue, but I don't have one to test it myself.
Normal Quality mode = "Regular" mode - same functionality as Sarmad 5.7.
Fine Quality mode = "Super" mode
Here are the Supermode functions.. use the EV keys to choose a setting and then use the zoom keys to change the value.
-2.0: Spot Photometry (1.1 turns it on, otherwise off)
-1.7: Sharpness (1.1 sets it to 6, otherwise 5)
-1.3: Exposure
-1.0: ISO
-0.7: Shutter Speed
-0.3: Zoom
0.0: Focus (1.0 is auto, 1.1-4.0 manual)
+0.3: White Balance Yellow
+0.7: White Balance Blue
+1.0: White Balance Green
+1.3: Saturation (may only work with CID36)
+1.7: Digital Filtering (1.0 keeps it on, otherwise off)

(new link to fix zoom issue in supermode, version 9.92)
note: I don't think you can alter ISO and Shutter Speed independently (its one or the other). I agree with Raiderski that the ISO function isn't as useful as the others, but a few people requested it, so its in there.. so is Spot photometry even though i'm convinced that most folks don't know what it does.. thats why its buried as -2.0 .. hehe
