Has anyone been successful at running Blackberry Conect on the p990i in the US through t-mobile? I have a p910a, and I love it, and it successfully runs BB connect so I have my work email pushed to me. Has anyone upgraded to the p990i in the US and is running BB connect on it through T-mobile and BES server at work? |

I just received a message from the Sony Ericsson Call Center in the Netherlands, stating that "while the first series P990 were shipped with the BST-34 battery, changes in the production plans have led to subsequent batches being shipped with the BST-33 only. This will not change in the future."
Can anyone call their local SE representative and try to get this comfirmed?

If they only are talking about the Netherlands I don't know if they are telling the thruth but if they are talking about the p990 in all europ they are full of BS! I got mine the 7:th of august... the absolut first batch that came to stores in sweden.. and my phone has a BST-33!
That's the biggest issue I have with the whole deal... The memoryleaks and bugs can all be fixed with new FW but the battery can't. Gah!

Voda - £35 p/m - 1000 texts - 500 mins - phone was free.
From what i have used of the phone it looks awesome. Dead chuffed. |

| Just picked one up at VF Canary Wharf, got LOADS in!!
Simfree handset, just VF seal on the box. Checked handset, no external branding. Comes in the simfree silver/grey box.
Handset was FOC on £30/month 18 month contract.
Judging by the numbers on the side, it looks like the latest firmware too.

BAH! My store didn't get ours today! Tomorrow it is! Vodafone has quite a few in the warehouse and most large stores have a basic stock level of 6-7 if they are unbranded thats nice. Can't wait till tomorrow

mine has no branding to the outer case. The only major branding i have seen on the software is the vodafone symbol when you turn on and off the phone. |

Which can be changed or not? Theme type setting or hard coded?
