FYI, price list for T610 parts are as follow:-
Front Casing - Including the black section, screen and the aluminium part - RM57
Antenna Cover - RM21
Battery cover - RM27
Keypad - RM27
Lanyard, wrist strap - RM20
For a complete new case change, RM35 labour charge apply if your phone is not under warranty. Otherwise, free of charge.
So, why bother about your phone getting scratch or get a overpriced RM45 Martin Overlay screen protector? The whole new front casing cost just a bit more!
Total case change, exclude the middle white coloured part - RM132 if your phone is still under warranty. |

Hi,
I just bought HBH-60 and its firmware is R1B.
I went to ericserv to upgrade , then one of the staff told me that the headset firmware cannot be upgraded? Is it true ?
Thanks for your reply |

Thanks for the info. I just got the Martin Fields overlay a few days back. Of all the glowing reviews, not one of them mentioned that the overlay didn't cover the whole screen. There's this 0.1mm area around the edges that are not covered. I was annoyed. But I have to admit the overlay is good. Crystal clear, rigid and doesn't attract fingerprints as much as the screen unprotected. Changing the front housing is good, but the screen get scratched easily, I dont want to keep changing the housing. No $$$ mah...
By the way, has anyone got the "Invalid Mobile" error on the T610? I got it twice already...what does it mean? I'm doing a search on esato right now... |

@Novell
How much does this Martin Overlay screen protector cost in Malaysia? If you said it leaves only 1mm of uncovered space is fine as Brando's leaves about 5mm!
I just got my P800 yesterday for display (with Brando screen protector) repaired and SE changed it for me without returning my Brando. Pissed!! I thought to get this very much debated Martin Overlay but not certain as it's more expansive than Brando. Apart from that, I really like the rough surface for hand-writing recognition on Brando. Could you possibly comment on the both whether which is more pleasant to write on and the reflection wise as well as finger prints as I use it without the chunky flip.
Cheers! |

Brando is a bit blurry look and martin is crystal clear. For screen sensitivity, both are the same. Both brand at first also pda screen protector maker.

I bought it RM45 at the Handheld Shop, Sungai Wang...didn't even haggle the price. I don't use PDA/P800 so I can't comment on the handwriting recognition.
@hamansan
I suggest you use softhome.net email. Check this thread (few pages back) for the settings on how to use maxis and softhome. |

funny though, maxis' gprs always suck on weekend nites, just like yesterday. luckily there are alternative ways to connect to the internet through the pc. been doing it a while, but not sure how.....
u guys think theres a GOOD reason to get a bluetooth adapter for the pc, other than to connect wirelessly.... cause i dont think thats a good enuff reason, since youre at home already..... |
