finally I decided to send the phone to repair, to get my screen exchange, after 5 month.. hope It will come back quickly to me

for other news, I have kitkat now for 2 days, the update is nice (I hated 4.3), we got almost nothing from the Z2, but my source tells me that we will have some stuff ported in future updates. hope it will be tap to walk, and that's about it for me, if they add 4k timeshift and 60fps 1080p shooting it will be cool, if they don't, I cant care less, because I never use my phone to shot videos really...

@sponse

i think tap to walk would be impossible for the older xperias. they don't have the necessary hardware. still no appendages/legs to enable walking
let's wait for sony to offer the accessory for that

Anybody who has updated to kitkat, can you please confirm if you are able to change the lockscreen wallpaper????

I am changing the lockscreen wallpaper but it's not changing... It's stuck to the new live wallpaper...

Even switching between themes is not changing the lockscreen wallpaper.

I think the earpiece volume is now much better than on android version 4.3 but now the loudspeaker is horribly low in volume. It was slightly louder on 4.3 and much more louder on 4.2. But now on 4.4 it's just useless for everything from music to videos to call alerts....

Is this intentional sony to make the Z2 speakers seem louder/improved than Z1???

Also, anybody thinking of updating to 4.4 I would recommend that you wait for another update as IMO current 4.4 build is the most bugiest version on Z1 to date... The last 4.2 firmware was the smoothest...

Hi all still no Kitkat update here but mine is network locked so chances are I will been waiting a few more weeks.

by the way I have just launched my first ever website xperiaphotostream.com

Its as you can probably guess its all about photos taken with Sony Xperia smartphones. Feel free to sign up and upload your own photos by hitting the + symbol at the top of the page.

I've never done anything like this before so if you guys could give me some feedback that would be great.
I'm so happy 'cause today
I've found my friends ...
They're in my head
