Is this phone as bad as the K850 in terms of problems? I have only heard of the keys in the middle getting scratched but wanted to know if there are any other issues too.
Thanks

@marty: It's obvious that the guy lied. He must have been to Esato and noticed the issue on many threads, thus prepared for his scam scheme
That's what I thought, so I've called his bluff and said to return the phone to me if there is a problem. I hate dealing on ebay, it's such a pain!

Just got mine ICE silver yesterday, flashed from Nordic to APAZN, to the latest firmware.. let see how it is..
The build quality feels solid and good, slide feel very stable on mine right now, coz it's new, same as the camera cover, no scratch key right now.. will tell more after 2 weeks use.. I use it mainly for camera reason ..

I'm on my third, for stupid little problems. It is a great GREAT phone.. just needs ironing. Even this one I am a little disgruntled (great word) with, its a little wobbly on the slider. But it's such a great phone with even more perfection on the SE OS, it does what you want it to do!
Get one, if it f**ks up then get it repaired.. once it's sorted you'll be happy as larry, whoever larry is?
Oh yeah and the keyboard scratchy is the only other real annoyance!
It's only slight.. BUT WHY!?

Hmm... I'm starting to have second thoughts. Here the only way to get it properly repaired is send it overseas or do it yourself

Spoken like a true fanboy! Why should people accept that such an expensive and brand new phone, might break so quickly? This is after all supposed to be 's top phone.
I waited a long time for a great handset to come out, and I was so hyped for this one. But just as we thought the timing was right, with all the A200 bugs ironed out, managed to find a way of producing a whole new bunch of problems!
I'll just sit and wait for the next one to roll out and see if they might actually learn from their mistakes. Such a shame that silly build quality problems are still a major issue. After the self destructing W580i's, you would have thought the game might get stepped up a little here.
I still much prefer over any others, purely for the interface, but they've been so reliably bad recently, it's very hard to keep supporting them. Wish they would just wake up and give everyone something positive to talk about.

Is there button to press to make an incoming call "silent" without having to slide open the phone and press "#" ?

Just press up or down on the rocker keys (volume keys)

How long did you guys notice the slide scratch the keypads, after days or weeks? Still on my third days, no problems yet. I think these problems are from the first batch.. Between mine is made W45, and it's not black one. Seems as most of problems goes to Black one |
