oh... my opinion is S65 has camera... 100% better than S700i

the pink lines are because of the defect of the ccd. When there is too strong intensity of light, there are two defects which usually arise. The first case is to have a black spot at the middle of the maximum intensity. It means that the pixel in ccd is not functional to accept any light. Simply, the pixel in ccd is destroyed, although usually it recovers automatically. The second case is the have a horizontal, or vertical white line. At the extremum of intensity, there is too much current flowing from the ccd, and as a result, the current flows towards the boundary of the ccd (taking the minimum distance). This is because the potential at the boundary is grounded (V=0), and therefore we see such a defect like the above pic.
