@harryville
Of course, you are right. But I'm still sure, something is wrong with SEUS. And I'm afraid, once I will have to go the the service to update my mobile. Maybe only I'm worried about the SEUS log, but I still find it to strange and suspicious... |

So what is the point in releasing R2AA when it has no visible/noticeable difference?
I was hoping that they would turn off display/screen on calls as this consumes a lot of power on long calls. I just don't get it why they insist on keeping the light ON when every other manufacturer turns it off. And here's us complaining about battery life....sheesh! |

How can we report our wonderful suggestions directly to SE? |

That is a good question!
I think that SE could get very valuable consumer input if they just had someone checking this forum every once in a while. |

@feffe:
Exactly. That's what I'm thinking of. |

I have already mentioned this on another thread:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=66330&start=255
I have also e-mailed Sony Ericsson some suggestions from that thread but not a complete list of what everyone wants as I could not remember them all. I think if all the users of this forum e-mailed SE then they would take notice:
Here's what I received fro SE (I think it is just a standard Call Center reply - don't think they will take much notice of it though):

Subject: Phones
Product: K700i
Opinion: Hi,
I have been reading the comments in a forum regarding the Sony Ericsson K700i (I am an owner of this phone). So far the users have noticed the following bugs:
- Bugs on K700i (R2L001 FW)
Bluetooth turns itself off if a paired bluetooth headset goes out of range (some phones only).
Pocket PCs can no longer connect to the internet via bluetooth (still possible with IR). Add "Z" to the field of 'Extra dial-string modem commands' to fix this issue
Auto save to SIM option no longer available - Contacts / Advanced / Auto save on SIM.
Sending DTMF tones takes a long time to send on a stored number + DTMF e.g. 012345678pp345...it is quicker to type it manually!
Also, it would be useful to include some of the other things that users would like incorporated in the FW like :- Completely switching off backlight/screen on calls after about 10 seconds, like Nokia and every other manufacturer (backlight is reactivated by pressing any key - on k700 this could be done by moving the joystick?)! This would improve the battery life a lot.
Here is the forum address: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=66330&start=0
I hope you can address these problems,

@kenski:
It is still R2L001, but recently SE has officially released a new R2A003 firmware to service centers. It is not on the SEUS yet. |
