Way back in the 70's, Pres. Marcos declared martial law in the Philippines and banned guns in the whole country. Unfortunately, it simply didn't work because criminals and terrorists kept their guns. Worse, only the law abiding people gave up their guns. It must have been a total nightmare to walk the streets of Sulu at night and come face to face with a gun-totting bogey. So much for gun ban.

Taurus 24/7: If it is anything like the Taurus Milleneum, then the trigger may be just as soft-sprung. It will have a long and soft trigger pull with an almost un-noticeable break. Some shooters would like a noticeable break wherein you could feel when the striker is about to come forward to strike the round. But then again, practice, lots of practice, can make you comfortable with this trigger.
The only real problem we've ever had with the Milleneum was the cleaning. Dismantling the gun was easy. After we've cleaned the barrel, we found out later that you need 3 hands to re-assemble the gun. Maybe, you could find a way to get over this problem. Or maybe Taurus had already solved this problem with the newer 24/7. With the Milleneum, someone has to hold the frame, another to hold the barrel down, and another to insert the slide into the frame. Otherwise, the barrel will slide together with the slide and not latch onto the barrel tilting notch.

The Millenium could also pinch your little finger if you clasp the grip too tight between the pistol grip base and the magazine base the way the KelTech does. There is a noticeable movement of the magazine inside the pistol grip although this does not seem to affect feeding of the round.

boysaint: haven't seen a red SE K610i in the market but I've seen a K618.

boysaint: Let's keep our 1-year old HTC Universal and wait for the HTC Tytan. The Tytan will be an upgrade and a bit smaller too. I'm also keeping my 2-year old HP and the SE K610i until maybe the Tytan gets sorted out. There isn't much tehcnological advancement lately, mostly upgrades, same as with guns. The P990 is a little late, actually almost a year late. What took SE so long to come up with this kind of gadget? A great gadget though.

definitely keeping it. and had no desire to buy any other new cellphone for the past...what...how many months now. been into Apple, and my Mac is serving me good. you're right...cellphones and other gadgets has been nothing but small upgrades here. i know w've been doing WiFi sometime ago, or since XDA-II (using SD) came out. 3G isnt supported that much. over here they're too slow to catch up. you use the latest technology and you get strange looks by the public. then a year later they re-launch it and tell everyone this is the latest thing. just like Bluetooth, now everyone has that silly object in their ears and tell me it's a BLUTUT. idiot, that's not bluetooth, thats a BT headset. Bluetooth is the technology, not that thing attached in your ear. whats going on?

by the way....how's your Knoxx?

The pretty SE promo girl in Robinsons told me they might market a new white K610i. How true is this? I havent even seen a red K610i in stores un-smuggled.

Aztec,
why don't you post some clear photos of your CZ-Compact! i want to see more of it.

MatangLawin,
got your Taurus 24/7 by this time? lets meet at the range!

G34,
great, i may have the white SE K610, specially if this time they will include a headset finally! and hey..... lets see how that Knoxx muffles the severe kick of a shortened 12-guage.

Doctabako,
how are you! i hope everything's okay in your area! hopefully Millenya didn't bother you or any of your property.

There's a videoclip at the Taurus-US site that shows how to dismantle (is this the same as field-stripping?) and reassemble the 24/7. It's a cinch! (fingers crossed)

Unfortunately, I still have not heard from Trust Trade yet. I remember being told that the processing usually takes 3 weeks. Well what do you know...it's been 20 days already! Will I receive good news tomorrow???

Which range do you frequent mr boysaint? I could really use some tips from more experienced gun onwers.

Hmm.. not to argue but to clarify. Are you refering to the Colt 1911A1 Government Model? Could you please explain why do you think this is the "best gun ever"?

by the way.... here's a comparison between the popular millennium, and the award-winning 24/7 .....enjoy your day. (not in actual scale with each other, by the way)
