@Dicky,
I was thinking this. I am sure if you talked to  they could sort it. Also as you have to send a receipt of purchase with the phone for warrenty repairs I am sure if you send your letter from that will be fine!

One other thing if they're not officially released in the uk does that mean the prizes are non uk spec models? As this could also cause problems if the phone becomes faulty.

Possibly, but again thats sorta s fault so they should repair it. Mine has EU5 firmware btw.
