Thanks Simon, does seem expensive on contract at the moment. Might just get it sim free or wait a few more weeks for a good deal on contract!

Is it only on mine that the voicetag is almost useless? Been tryin' a lot with different contacts but it almost impossible to record the word that I wanna use. Different words to different contacts of course.

As there is no Ir port on this phone and hence no red LED this is what you get when the phone is on charge.

Looks so gorgeous and appealing and Expansys have them in stock! But with a P990i, can hardly justify it!!! |

Yeah that stays on. It should just be the "C" key as it acts as a power button too. I like it though.

right,anyone know of any mac software so i can transfer songs to my w880. as the disc that comes with it, is windoze only.

I just use the USB lead; the phone shows on the desktop, and then I drag songs across to it.
I'm not aware of any software to enable an iTunes-stylee transfer. One of life's mysteries, I suppose, is why SE produce such well-designed phones, that work well - and then only support the dire Windoze.

So do the SIM free ones from Expansys have the full flash version of the City theme?

The ones at Expansys are sim-free so fully support flash menues

I tried an O2 one but the City menu didn't work as I'd seen it work in videos. I always end up buying SIM Free and I hate the way the networks 'customise' their phones. The worst offender being Vodafone with their hideous icons!

Its annoying the branding on the O2 phones. It doesnt need to be as bad as it is. Start-up and shut down customization doesnt bother me or replacing the Playnow with an O2 link but replacing both Playnow and Internet with O2 links and disabling the flash menues is annoying.

Indeed... just so heavy handed.
Mind you at least they haven't painted their name on their name on the phone itself... that really annoys me. |
