Finally! Free and Fullfledged gprs using Airtel Prepaid(India) |

Hello
I use Samsung SGH-C200 with AIRTEL POSTPAID in TAMIL NADU circle.
I WANT A METHOD WHICH WILL ENABLE ME TO ACCESS COMPLETE INTERNET
ON MY MOBILE ITSELF WITHOUT PAYING ANYTHING.
(Please do not misunderstand me, I am not yelling but only
highlighting my request)
I have already got Airtel Live activated om my phone which allows
me to access only the following 2 websites:
http://live.airtelworld.com/
http://www.yahoo.com/(In fact, only some of its features)
I am really bored seeing these websites only
Another thing, I did not try Spartan's method because I do not
have a cable, IR or bluetooth in my mobile.
(I am even not sure of presence of GPRS modem in my phone)
Check out http://www.wap-gateway.com/ which I found a few days back
The above mentioned site offers u free gateway which I was unable to
use because of my little knowledge of this whole matter.

Dear ajay123,
The Free Wap Gateway trick will not work with Airtel bcoz Airtel doesn't permit to use outside gateways with their access points. |

guys gotta trick 4 ya
especially 4 those in maharashtra tryin 4 free gprs
100.1.200.99 wont easily work but u can get it goin by initialisin both net on modem and wap at the same instant else it denies access.
nyways im still unable 2 use your freedom .im posting the screenshots some1 help me

I am in karnataka and i am enjoying this free internet  . But as spartan said, sometimes it gives error may be because of GPRS connectivity.
Now, I want to know if there is any ip address, which gives free WAP connection to our wap enabled mobiles.
Presently, you have to go for either AirtelOnline or something similar in other providers to get this facility by paying 100 bugs permonth.
I found a website www.wap-gateway.com where they tell u will get free connectivity, but didnt work for me.
Please let the community know if you have any free access... |

I'm glad to see a Free Airtel GPRS user from Karnataka.
By the way, which wap enabled handset you use? It's possible to get free wap by using Airtel Live.
I had paid Rs.150 for 3 months on december for Airtel Online. |

U r mistaken. I was telling abt the internet thro PC/Laptop using airtel live.
I use K700i. I dont think u can get airtel online for free.
Even I used it for about 6 months by paying 100/- per month.
Thats why I was trying with free gateways. Unfortunately, it seems it is not possible. Lets wait and see...

Even I tried doing this... It is not possible. Is there any way to modify the Opera Mini settings?

me to wanting to know setting for opera mini ..so tht i can surf thru t..
currentl i can only suf free thru airlet live thru ..any of the methods..buts only thru the default browser...
ne ne knows the settings...to activate gprs...in mobiles os tht java apps like opera can use it for free conections ....alands? |
