@Amby Beware .... most Nigerian Oga's will eat U raw. They feel they should be "boss" in everything. The key issue is: WILL YOU BE ANY BETTER IN YOUR TIME?

@All... MTN Nigeria won an Award at the GSM Association Awards 2006 in Spain. They won the "Best Mobile Community Service or Initiative" for the Rural Women Telephone Project. It is like the Glo NAPEP thing but for Women.... I think it was done in the East... not too sure.

Congratulations MTN!

@amby: Don't lose hope on SE and their new line of slim smartphones; I am sure a camera-emphasized version of this form factor will be released soon. SE announced a music version [W950] two days ago so there's hope for a S900/S950 smartphone. I am so happy that SE is finally expanding beyond the P series smartphones.

Pocket PC phones are good options too. Almost all new PPC running on WM2005 have integrated WiFi & 2mp cameras. Forget what mamba said about battery life and OS. The windows mobile OS is very stable, and my Jam and other WM2003 PPCs have significantly improved battery life. The major con is that they are quite expensive and prices don't drop drastically as nokias and SEs.

@coola: I read thru your post at normal speed without any problems. GSM boycott tomorrow? I didnt know there was a GSM boycott tomorrow.??@areafada: Download & install d latest version of PC Suite from Nokia.com. It simplifies internet connectivity between PC & the 9500 a great deal.

Since Gurus like AYA did not hear about the GSM Boycott, then it is destined to be a big flop. Poor publicity!

Deji Ekabo.
The usual practice is for new members on PNF to introduce themselves, and let us know on which network they are, and how they found Esato/PNF.

Thank u all for the concern about my "well being" especially u Coolapostle.

I went back and looked at several possibile replacements for my phone, comparing them all to the 9500, and the P990 just stands out. I only hope I'll be able to afford it when it is released.
