TBH i think the review was quite balanced. Though the dude was very critical he/she did mention that it's an early problem and that SE do have a rep for making things work on their flagship phones.
Personally I'm still going for it on Friday with vodafone. |

Got the P990i last night ! Lovely phone !!
I'm not upgrading the firmware until the next one is out. Actually it is quite stable !
I'm surprised how many problems you guys are facing.
BTW, it took me 30 mins to remove the battery cover ! The damn thing was stuck !! I had pressed on the upper part!
Just a question, couldn't find this in the manual, how to take the phone off the stand? Just pull it out or remove like I remove say the charger?
Somebody reply please, the damn thing is on the stand!

@Enrique
I ease it off the stand by placing two of my fingers between the bottom of the P990 and the stand base. |

hi,
i have a p910i and i was very hot to get the p990i for a long time now. after all the problems i read about and the little improvements i am not shure, if i shouldn't buy the htc tytn. before i make my decision, i would like to ask something about the p990i:
did the synchronisation with outlook (2003) improve? i would like to know, if it is possible now, to sync birthdays and categories. i have a lot of contacts and would like to give them more than one category (like: "private" and "restaurant" or "business" and "client"). is this possible now or did se not get it, that a good and reliable synchronisation is very important for business-users?
thanks... |

http://www.4gmonline.com also crashes my p990i, organizer firmware R3A04. The error it throws is:

kern-exec
code 0
I've tried a few websites, including image heavy ones, and it's the first time i've seen that error from the web browser.
For now i'd suggest you install opera-mini j2me for accessing the 4gmonline site.

excuse my ignorance, but I see there is a .jar and .jad file for opera mini. Do we install them both? If so in which order?
