The only reason I avoided the K750 was due to the fact that it didn't have 3G, now that the K800 has been announced I might get it but like I said it's going to be a toss-up between it and the W900i.

@786KBR: Same thing with my P910, it's almost lightening fast compared to my K700i which also boasted Class 10 GPRS...Sunday night I downloaded a whole bunch of games in super quick time.

I seriously want to get a 3G phone, would I need to get the 64k sim or can I get away with using my old 32K sim? I still want to keep my P910 but use the 3G phone as a second handset, it should preferably be small.

Wazzup Siraaj? Welcome, homeboy

Welcome to Dust as well. Personally i'd love to see Tsotsi, altho i'm time-challenged atm. Had a burglary 24hours before my alarm system was to be installed, altho the burglar was mentally challenged. He left behind two cellphones which were charging, as well as plenty of other goodies, opting only for the dvd player and speakers.

Yeah, we have two PE esato members now.
I often think back to my student days in PE in the early 90's; 'sewing wild oats' by 'dragging' the motorbike along the William Moffet, visiting chicks in Westering and Walmer, jolling in Humewood and Central, part-time working in Greenacres, being chased by PE's notorious traffic cops near Greenbushes on the way back from Seaview, buying and selling bikes in Lorraine and Charlo, studying in Summerstrand and being a hostel-master at Grey Junior during the same period!

I'm such a sentimental wanqa...

@ Kryptik,
Sorry to hear about your burglary, swaer. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest the armpits of the deranged villain... or I'm sure a few of the famous 'Kryptik-slaps' should have the same desired effect, should you catch the cretin.
He who laughs last... thinks slowest.

lol, it would be better if i didn't lay hands on the little moron, i'd probably end up driving him to the hospital myself. It's ironic that on the very day of the burglary i'd just returned home for a few minutes to fetch my firearm out of the safe so that it could visit a local gunsmith for polishing, and to leave a chunk of cash in the safe, seeing that the alarm dudes and painters would be paid the next day lol. If only the burglar knew where the safe was hidden he would have had a far more profitable haul.

Speaking of dragging down the William Moffett, these days they place handy-dandy GBSDs(Government Blood-Sucking Devices, according to BayFM) along that stretch. A traffic officer buddy informs me that if you stick to the left-hand lane you're immune to the cameras all-seeing eye, Siraaj. Same applies to the permanent camera opposite Gelvandale High. May save you a few shekels, although it'd be better to drive slowly anyway, seeing that there's an epidemic of blindness in PE these days. Pedestrians seem oblivious to the fact that vehicles are lethal weapons... My daily trip to work via Njoli Square and Daku Road is such a joy- it's called The-Dodge-The-Pedestrian-And-Taxi-Game. The local jikileza (township car taxis) drivers have the habit of stopping anywhere at anytime, and woe betide the driver who objects to their driving skills.

Yeah but i still prefer driving at the designated speed limit. I'm a student, ain't got no cash to pay fines. Durban road is probably the worst. Especially in the afternoon when it's peak traffic. It's always filthy and the pedestrian think they own the road. Don't even wanna think about the taxi's! They act as if the middle of the road is a demarcated parking bay!

Durban Road is a learner driver's nightmare, and the examining officers seem to derive pleasure from taking candidates down that route.

Siosal, where've you been mate?

@da krypsta: Sorry to hear about the break-in, seems like those clowns are in serious need of a brain transplant.

Yesterday, I downloaded an awesome app: RSS Headline. Like you all know, I'm a news junkie and after months of looking for a good RSS reader I finally discovered this one by WildPalm...it works like bomb and I get to check up on my favourite news and blog sites for updates.

@ da brixsta,
Have you ever downloaded and used Firefox's RSS reader on a PC?
I haven't tried it myself, but a few colleagues were going on about it and (apparently) it's quite highly-rated.
