I know this probably means nothing, but check this picture of the Aino out:
It's from the SE website and it looks like the hand in the picture is touching the MAIN menu and not the media one.
Sign of things to come?
It would give the impression that the phone is full touch, but by what ive gathered you can't access any other function except the camera and media with the phone slid down, so if anyone purchases this phone online they won't be too impressed when the picture shows something that can not happen.

hey jus read this on the page for AINO
Keep it fresh
Your Aino™ keeps getting better and better. Update at any time for the latest software enhancements, free applications and exclusive games. Watch this space for more info on what the updates can do for your phone.
I reckon they mite at some point update it to enable full touchscreen usage...as the hardware is already capable its just the software thats limiting it at the moment, so a firmware upgrade could do it! at the moment it seems like a stupid idea to have to open slider to do basic navigation on the phone, if they actually bring in proper touchscreen support i would really consider buying this phone!! |

Indeed. It would be too stupid not to. But I forgot. Its obvious the screen is just 12 pressure points. Surely. I mean when you swipe you connect pressure points. |

The screen is capacitive. No such thing as pressure points there. |

in my opinion it looks already now better then the X1, it has a clean modern design
the only question is the quality of the used materials
