Well I'd had enough of the dodgy build quality. The rocking slider and shaky lens cover. The stupid buttons with no feedback and the no so good picture quality. I sold my C905. After waiting such a long time for it, it really wasn't good enough. So here I am, texting from the dark side. I have a Nokia N82

hi, about the strap
how do you manage to put it on when the battery cover is on lol, i can do it now with it off, but obv then the cover wont go back on right.
but with the cover on, practically all the the metal loop is covered within the battery cover, making it near enough impossible to get the string through it. i think im seriously missing something here lol
Is it because the metal loop is too small when the cover is on. If it is then I cant see the strap ever going on. |

poke it through with a pin or something. Just about every wriststrap hole on every mobile I've had required a bit of fiddling to get on. K800 was pretty tight.
Believe me it will go on, don't give up too easily

It depends on what you are willing to put up with. To be honest, I don't think it's worth the money being asked for it. Nightblade is on his 3rd, and others are returning them for broken earpieces etc. That doesn't say flagship phone to me. I still like phones, but don't see myself getting one for a long time. I'm more than happy with the VGA recording on my N82 black for now

Depend what you are asking for.. Seems the black one has more issues than the Silver one.. But most important is the phone has stable firmware.. About the build quality issues, you still have warranty.. That's why I never get a new phone from first shipment..
I hope that one I get tomorrow don't have these problem, let wait and see..

I'm looking for a new phone that isn't falling apart! I don't think it's okay to think, okay it has a warranty. If I bought a brand new car and a week later the doors were hanging off, I wouldn't think, hey, at least the engines great! It's just very poor quality control, for which there is no excuse.
It's a shame that 's standards are now so low, people come to expect that from the first batch. Maybe from a low tier, bottom range phone you could reason it. But the flagship phone of the year? Don't think so!
@Lunion
You do realise you can buy it from CPW sim-free, unbranded cheaper than Play.com?

Another broken earpiece over hear!
Just got home after forgetting it, tried to ring someone and ...
However, I think I'll leave it until the end of the week until I send it to an SE service center as my k850i had the same problem, however, that same day my c905 arrived, once I had remember that I still had a k850 and needed it fixed, I tested the earphone again and it worked, so, I'll keep my hopes up. |
