Yes! that is correct! which is why I myself was amazed when I saw the TETRIS game appear. Although its quite slow & hard to control since the A1018s had rubberized keypads.

I then had a dessert khaki A1018s with an orange front fashion panel:)

Dear All!

Just before I head home today, I'll be leaving you guys with a topic to pry on.

Has anyone got any idea of what type of /// phone is installed in VOLVO cars, models such as the S60, V70XC, S80, XC90?

I had worked with Volvo Cars here in the Philippines before & it seems like the integrated GSM phone on the cockpit is /// made, most likely since all Volvo Race cars I've seen before had the /// logo on it & not to mention these are both TOP Scandanavian Brands.

The interface appears to be thatt off ///, however I could not do the >*<<*<* with it to see the SW verison, which goes the same for the R380 during that time.

Also, most product marketing material often show an /// phone attached to the cockpit of the vehicle. For example, I saw an add during the launch of the XC90 here in our country showing the interiors of the car with a T39m (classic blue) mounted on a car handsfree unit.

Do let me know & see if you could find pics to attest to this, I'll do my part as well.

Thanks!

Just a little correction
On the right side is only one slider and this is for switching between normal mode and handsfree speakerphone mode. It switches the speaker to ultra-loud.

On the left side are three buttons. up/down for changing speaker volume and the single button is for 'PTT'.
But this PTT is different to the PTT which is nowadays sold.
The PTT-function of R250s PRO is based on the GSMpro standart which has never been activated by most network operators. Ther have been some test cells in Austria AFAIK. Actuall PTT is based on GPRS-standart.

--------------

A1018s with Tetris: There has only been one fw which has Tetris fw in: It is a special fw for the A1018s handsets sold in Portugal (South Europe). I have to search a bit, but somewhere is also a pdf-manual for this A1018s version.

@Tigerente
We are actually both correct about the slider on the right of the R250s.
I have just read the manual and it says when you are on a GSM Pro network it switches between PTT and normal phone but when on normal GSM networks it switches between speakerphone and handheld.
