Yes, H34XX and H444XX are XA2+, can't be XA3 |

I think the xa3 should start with the letter 'I' under current naming conventions.
It will probably be xa2+.
And what about the new flagship??? |

XA, XA1 and XA2 all debuted at MWC, there is no indication sony would change up their tactics for now for the XA line. The XA1 plus also was announced last year in august, so clearly any announcement would be this.
As Lonewolf223 pointed out, the XA3 would begin with I.

For curiosity I went to gsmarena page to download samples of many flagships.
The snail samples from G7, iX, mi8 op6, p20, p20pro, pixel 2, s9+, u12+, xz1, xz2, xz2c, xz2p, xzp and xz2.
Then I resized all to 3200 x 2400 to make fair battle.
XZ1 looks pretty good ( exposition, noise and details), much better than G7 and OP6.
Still dont get the high score of iX.
Then my question. ...
XZs was the weakest. XZs, XZp and XZ1 samples are pretty different.
How can they be that different? |

BACK ON TOPIC:
i wonder what device will be announced so quietly as hinted by XJ. with IFA not that far off, it seems strange to announce something now. probably a low or mid range device? maybe just an accessory? there are so many "news" outlets saying the XZ3 will be announced at IFA and includes the 48mp sensor... it's great to hype up sony, but i feel like if they don't deliver the 48mp sensor at IFA, they're gonna get destroyed on tech sites with whatever they do announce.
