So, you guys think this 48MP is for the " XA3".
Does this mean an aggressive move from Sony like when they brought M5?
Because M5 was very strong midrange for its time.
Imagine the xa3 like this:
- SD 710 / 730
- 4GB/ 64GB
- 5.5" 16:9, 14.6cm tall
- IP68
- Front stereo speakers
- 3430mAh
- 48MP (25mm) / 8MP (22mm) + 8MP ( 18mm)

Honestly I feel it's the I'm 600 (minus) the DRAM for other manufacturers not for Sony at all
Plus this year we saw that Sony used the previous Flagship module in its current New XA
So if this will be the way they go by giving the XZ2 module to XA3 and giving something new to XZ3 we will still discover it
also they may give this 586 to the XA3 and making the XA series with 1 main camera from now on, and keep the twice or even triple architecture to the XZ
All still open in the air

As I stated above with the screenshot, the IFA press conference is supposed to have an exclusive unveiling. Whatever that means.

That booth unveiling is for all the BRAVIA and audio products coming in truckload

There is a browser benchmark that says h84 has 18,5:9.
Dont know if it is real.

14 months up to april, and now for september would be, 19 months. So perhaps a new sensor could make a debut and perhaps it might. If not at IFA, then perhaps at CES or MWC. The XA1 received the IMX300 6m after the last high end xperia used it, so perhaps this will happen again next year as well at mwc 2019, the XA3 will move to the IMX400, and sony claiming, super slow motion comes to the midrange and a new sensor IMX500 or whatever it will be will debut in the new lineup at MWC. Or sony will debut something at CES and then XA3 with IMX400 debuts.
Althought technically the XZ2 premium changed the camera up a bit, added F1.8 and changed the lens setup as well.
As for benchmarks, I would prefer to see direct link to the benchmark rather than a photo, since that can be faked.

If the 18,5:9 is true, the render from ONLEAKS is right.
Screen with round corners and bit edged like Samsung.
Why are tech sites are saying Premium does not pass 480 nits?
I thought it was near 1000.
@spek Is the SP the father of XZ2 brothers? It looks Ambient Flow to me.
