Anyone else having problems downloading stuff off the android market, when ever I select something to download, it just sits saying starting download, but does not start.

Thought it may have something to do with the market being busy, will try again later tonight and see if it works then.

As for the navigon thing, I am just going to forget about it, seems a few others are saying that it is not as good as it could be anyway. May try and change the settings you said about and try it later on.

The navigon 2.6 is so cool, when you want to navigate at home for example, it shows you two different ways, one with highway one without, and you can choose which one you want. So the settings optimal, fast, beautiful etc. are not important.

And it remembers your routes if you want to, its called my route, you can enable or disable it everytime you want. Realityview works perfect

Volvoman i sent you a PM regarding your Navigon Problem, i hope you donīt mind, if yes then just ignore it.

I started PlayNow and it updated automatically. Now there are programs, games and music options. UK unbranded too.

Thats strange. Mine updated but still only has music on it. What network you on dude?

I'm on Vodafone. Bought unbranded from CPW. Running mine on swedish language, don't know if that makes a difference?

Does the xperia x10 comes with a notepad that can syncs with a computer? Is there any android apps that will? Or sony ericsson apps?

Well since trying to download navigon unsucsesfully yesterday, I am now not able to download anything from android market, also now when I connect my X10 to the PC, I do not get my phone listed in my computer, yet PC companion opens it up seperatly. Everything else seems to be fine on my phone, but I am reluctant to use the repair feature in PC companion, as this may well loose the apps I already have, and then still may not be able to download from the market.

When U connect your X10 to the computer, do you (i don't know the word in english) "mount" the usb in your X10? To do that swipe down the top menu and tap on the USB-connection to choose mount. Then you will see your X10 as a unit on your computer. While you are connected to the computer the phone it self can't see you memory card and that's the way it should be.

Good luck!

Yes that is the way I do it, everything was fine until I tried to download and then instal navigon. All was going well until navigon wanted me to continue the instal by connecting to my PC to download the maps, at this point it told me there was no memory card. Thinking I had maybe somehow corrupted my card, I disconnected the phone in the correct way, and checked to see if the phone could read the memory card, which it could no proble, I even took a few photos and sent some files via bluetooth from another phone, all of which were saved to the card. But for some reason after this failed navigon instal, i can no longer download anything from the market.

When I try to do so, It simply finds the app I click to instal, and it then tells me my app will be downloaded, then just sits there saying starting download. Have left it trying to download Xperia flashlight this morning for an hour, and still the same the blue bar and starting download. Now maybe PC companion has something to do with it as well, have now decided to do a repair and see if that sorts the issue out. I know I will end up loosing everything off the phone, but then it will simply have to go back for either exchange or repair if it is still the same.

Heh heh, look at 1:32 where they split screen to some kind of Sony tablet product. It's mirror reversed, everything is back to front. Rubbish.

I had a similar problem when I could not download from the Market...

The stupid mistake of mine was that I changed my google mail account from googlemail.com to gmail.com which is available in the UK and then followed some intructions online to remove the account and re setup and all was well...

Try removing the account and resetting it up...

Hope this works...

Why do tagged photos become unknown all the time? ... and don't say task killer. I've disabled that one.
