....you have a right to complain that SE doesn't have this or that, but what's the point? just get a N95 or whatever it is you like. it's May, and SE hasn't even revealed half of their portfolio this year. they might be taking their time, the new products might not meet YOUR expectations. at the end of the day, it shows in SE's market share.
Relax my friend. I'm not complaining on , I'm very sad because many people changing their se-phones for another brand (you know what brand I'm talking about ) because this brand gives to customers high-tech phones. Second thing - I'm very sad that having so big potential not using it in products. P1 is a little drop in the sea
And as for me - if don't anounce walkman 3.2mp until august I'll buy T650 because I like it even with this small screen

hmmm, lets await the 'final decision'...

yeah, I wasn't angry at anyone in general, just a bit frustrated with driftboy's moaning. you can read his posts and see why it would frustrate me ...
SE does have the potential, but it's doing whatever it does to establish a firm hold on the market first. honestly I don't want to see SE do a Nokia and start rushing into 'experimental' products. look what happened to the p990i? and how many users of n95 would stick to the phone come this year end? at the end of the day, I would rather prefer quality over quantity. even a 5.0MP camera can't beats the quality of a 3.2MP camera sometimes. I think you get my meaning.
and hold firm, I'm sure SE does have something up it's sleeves. patience brings good things ...

If its up 2 the final decission I wouldnt be surprised if the recording gets 2 be QVGA @ 15 fps...

my question is why not do the announcements the other way around. if they know that they will sell these plastic budget phones later in the year, just in time for the christmas sales explosion and give "us" "power users" what they want far earlier in the year then everyones happy! they still sell all the phones they need to however now they are stringing us along ... i tell you that this 5mp phone better be the nice shit, (every camera feature in their new G1 cybershot sans touch screen and 30fps video and hsdpa 7.2 and a kilelr battery life, or its not worth waiting for, everyone knows itll be $500+ when it comes out). cuz right now keeping it under wraps is hurting their fanbase, no one cares about these announcements of a t250, why waste an announcement on that??? the ppl that are buying it will find out about it when it gets picked up by tmobile or att, and walk into the mall for a new phone for whatever reason. they arent concerned about release dates, they just see a new shiny toy for $49 with a 2 yr contract. the ppl vying for announcements want something to read a spec sheet, a nice picture with the design language thats more closer to the release version than a few pix from LAST YEAR!!! the P1 was a nice touch but the T650 again, no one really cares its a mid tier phone thats not 3G, i call it laziness. no one needed the K810 they didnt need to make it, this arbitrary stop gap to lengthen the life of their old candybar cshot to hold off on releasing the new one. it was a waste of production time and research. and its annoying that we have to wait. i mean we dont have to but what are our options? nokia HA! motorola ... (did i say that?) a pocket pc (hardly). is it so hard to say hey, i know your waiting thanks for being patient heres a clip of our progress, are we not entitled to something FOR helping spread the word of a good cellphone company that makes quality phones? you have half the board yelling at the tpo of their lungs for SOMETHING, itd be nice to get a crumb from the table.
ps: the buttons on those phones are hideous! k800 are very nice! |

actually, T650 IS 3G enabled and if you'd look over the esato you'd probably
notice that there a few people interested in it as not everyone has 500 $ to
spend on a phone. And why the hell would you need 7.2 HSDPA on a mobile
phone??!!

it shouldn't be 500USD when it comes out, more like 450, i think
but don't they overprice everything by 20% in england? (e.g. ipod)

why would i need 7.2 on a mobile so i can pair it with my laptop, so i can pair it with my desktop, so i can make sure that i can get anything that i want at speed! its necessary to me at this point, especially having to wait this long. asking that question is like MS saying youll only need 256kb of ram (remember that?)
and rally the T650 is a decent phone i was just really upset, and i did think i read that yesterday, but its UMTS/Edge im not sure w.e to each his own.
and really if you dont have 500$ to spend my post shouldnt concern you, it wasnt written for those folks, it was from the perspective of a person who can, and really wouldnt think 2x about spending that much on a mobile.
thats what the T250 is for, those who want something but dont need or want everything, I WANT EVERYTHING! if i spend that much on a phone im not looking to upgrade anytime in the future, its a long term expenditure.
all i want are some decent pictures, i mean even car manufacturers give their test mules some air every now and again, i dont need to know whats exactly in the phone (i guess) but i would like to see what im waiting for. if its aesthetically pleasing then hey great if i find it ugly id at least like some time to think about it ... having to wait on this fence is giving me some back spasms. id like to think they care, but i can see from this "new" game plan they shit on the ppl that accepted them when they made 5 phones a year. |

@daviep - well... t650 is one of the most advanced non-smartphones - if not the most - from right now. but with him classifying it as a midend. well, that's gotta say something about the upcoming ones. 3,2 mp in a midend, which means 5 mp will be the new standard in most highend phones, which we'll see quite a few of.

What makes a T650 more advanced than the K810? I'd put it on par with the Z750.Merge the two and that would be high end. I never really thought of the T650 as high end and I'm surprised people do.
No K630s coming by any chance?

Looks like Nokia has leaked the true n73 successor and competitor to Sofia:
http://symbianguru.typepad.co[....]2007/05/nokia_n82_imagi_1.html
Surprisingly similar to prototype sofia, with SE keypad, Xeon flash (they have finally joined the race) and cam half way down the back with mechanical lens cover. Will be interesting to see a quality comparison of both their 5mp cams in the near future!

if the N82 specs is true, then it will be a dream phone. Sofia will have huge shoe to fill to be able to compete with this. |
