What about Luxor and the Hurgada, or something of that sort. Spend a few days sightseeing and then a few more on the beach. It really is too bad the pharohs didn't really get into like beaches that much.

Mustafabay just stirred a very good idea, Raja. You can look for a tour through which you can get directly to Hurgada then spend an overnight or a couple of days in Luxor (coz they're on the same contour and the distance is not that big), then return to Hurgada to spend the rest of the vacation.
Luxor too has its traesures that equal those of Cairo, i.e. the pyramids. The valley of the kings alone is worth the while, let alone Karnak, el Deir El Bahary & Luxor temples, the valley of the queens, etc, etc etc..., unless of course you're so much attached to the pyramids.... |

What I trying to do is stay at Sharm El Sheikh and consider a day trip to Cairo or Luxor. I am going to ask travel agents today to investigate that possibility (costs and time involved).
I am upto a point attached to Pyramids. I can't visit this great country and miss out on one of the 7 wonders of the world!

anyway, has anyone seen the SE W850i phone in egypt?? i am getting a new phone and i have seen this one on SE website....does anyone know how much it costs ? and is it better or the W900....

No I haven't seen it yet, P990 is here though at leat dubai imports. Actually I have never seen a W900 anywhere at all. W900 has better camera and bigger screen however it is big. So you might not like it compared too the W850. I'll check the radioshack near home in a day or two to see if the W850 is here yet. W810 is 2600 if I'm not mistaken so I'd put the W850 at 3000 minimum.

i found the SE w810 at "el ghanem" for 2450 LE....not bad |

Well I suppose so, don't look at prices online for comparisson or any other reason, you won't be happy. The reason I look a t Radioshack is that they always have the whole lineup and they have the official prices, I wouldn't buy there though.

Now lets see, should I be worried? The P990 is out but I have yet to see the M600. As for other phones, I was surprised how fast the K800 came out here, but I have not seen the W900 although I've heard of people owning it. I didn't see the W850, W710, Z710 or Z550 so should I be worried, I am pretty sure Radioshack carries SE's whole lineup in Egypt.
Has anyone seen the M600? What is worrying me is they might do the T630 fiasco again.
And mentioning the T630 my dad asked a friend in KSA if he could buy a screen for me but SE said they only fixed but didn't sell parts. Any ideas? I will eventually buy something but I don't know when.

Well basically they acted as if it never existed and didn't bother releasing it in Egypt. I hope they don't do it to any SE phones this year not to mention next year with 40 phones expected.

I don't think they will be 40 distinct models but a few pairs, network specials and some low ends but would still count as 40.
