most are asked to leave homes. the nearest place asked to vacate is 10 minutes drive from my home. and the backwaters is just 100m off my house. 
i woder how phoenix is doing.... he must be affected the worst.

Some news channel guys are really dumb. Yest, star news guys were running a prog saying the government could have done something since it took 3 hours for the tsunami to reach our shores.
