Looks very much like the iPhone 4 in that picture. I'd like to see the other colours but it definitely looks more ergonomic than big bro. |

@DrKnute. I do think we will go over 1k. I won't delete 'off-topic' posts hence they may be 'on-topic' for others. I do try to keep this thread interesting.
Be warned, I spy!

Does anyone remember the unknown Xperia from spypic sized next to BlackBerry Q10? That should have more compact size than Z1f or this teased Z1s. Any news/info about it? |

Hi Hans. I do appreciate you making an effort to keep things interesting (I'm sure it isn't easy), but I don't understand how something off topic may be on topic for someone else. Either it is related to Sony Xperia rumors or it isn't. I just miss the days that when the thread had new posts, it meant there were new rumors or something rumor related. Anyway, now I'm off topic haha. Apologies for that. Did I miss something about why most of our great insiders are quiet lately?

Because of Sony's "no Leakage Policy"

That did cross my mind, but somehow I don't think that's the reason |

Z1s vs Z1
Thanks for sharing the pic , people are commenting at xperiablog that the screen looks better judging from this photo. So the only complaint possible now will be the bezels? (BTW decent size bezels are important at least for me)
This should be perfect to go against iphones, hopefully camera software will be ready if it launches by January.

Pretty sure camera performance will be much improved over Z1, Sony has that kind of attitude even on their Digital Cameras, bringing fix by releasing new HW than just keep improving their existing system drivers

I'm really liking the Z1s. The bezel looks just fine to me. The ZL bezel does have a wow factor but I'm sure there's a reason they don't extend the screen a couple more mm on other phones yet. I agree, the camera will definitely be improved. There is so much room to grow with it. I'm sure they're pushing it further and further. The screen looks better, however it's just one pic. Hopefully they have plenty of 4.3 IPS screens! |

Z1s looks like the perfect phone for me apart from one little thing - lack of Xenon flash.
Ill wait & see what the Z2s offers. |

I think the bezels are actually a good thing....it leaves spaces for part of your hand to touch without actually touching the touchscreen! which in my opinion is important from an ergonomics point of view! |

Z1's screen is on brighter setting while z1s is not. My screen looks exactly like the one on z1s. On a side note , z1 screen is just too bright even on the lowest setting :@. Any idea how I can suggest it to them?

Have you checked "Adopt to lightning conditions" ?
That helps a lot.

@Indiandawg,
Yep. Adapt to lightning condition is on. If they allowed us more dimmer option, we could have even longer battery life. I had a similar issue with xperia T. Originally it was dim, after an update it became really bright then with the final one, they made it dim again.
