Today finally I got time to play with Samsung S3 and I must say the UI sucked. I mean look at the phone it's so nicely made and got amazing screen and touch but what happened in UI front. Compare to S3, Sony has amazing UI.

Anyway sticking to the topic, one of the question asked by someone is still not answered and even I'm interested in knowing that is Sony going to come straight with Android 4.2 or 4.1?

Am I the only one who thinks that the concept of "Odin" looks pretty cool...???

Personally I don't like it. It actually looks a bit ugly to me.

Case closed then... It seems that I'm only one who likes that concept...
And comin to the tech side... I want Odin's camera to kick-ass... Recently if U look out for a mobile review on any website, they usually compare the top-dogs like sammy, suing fruit, HTC, Nokia and totally ignore Sony... Even though Sony supplies sensors for Sammy,fruit & LG, they're not considered by any leading tech-websites... I've no idea why this happens... I found nothing wrong with the pics shot with Xperias... They're pretty awesome... Recently I compared Ion's camera with S3... And Ion's color was natural & S3 was a bit greenish... I want 2013 Xperias to change the game and come out on top... Hope it happens...

@coolkid8689

I prefer it over the SGS3 definitely, and I think it's a fairly good looking design too.

But, I know Sony can do better than that, so am not as pleased as a Samsung fan would be if that was the design of the SGS4...

I agree, buit Samsung is one big HYPE because of its copycats from Apple that why Samsung gets many sales after SGS1/SGS2 /GSt ab copycats from Iphone design and Ipad design.

And thanks paid off carriers and phone shops to sell a Samsung and they get a bonus.

Exactly. Samsung marketing hyped the shit out of the GS3 along with overwhelming carrier support. Many general consumers buy into this unfortunately. Add to that the "Galaxy S_" 1-model approach makes the marketing and mindshare even more effective. Samsung got this right I must say.

Sony really needs to stop with their 2-3 model crap S/P, T/TX, Odin/Yuga. Regional models and other technical bs are no excuse imo.

On the hardware end...every tech blog still claims AMOLED to be among the king of displays; I mean are they color blind? How can anyone stand those 80's icons, jarring neon on black UI with blue whites in webpages? It's like starring at neon shit every time I pick up my girls' Note. And no one even mentions the burn in issue too..wtf

They talked about White Magic 7inch display, I hope their future Phablet will use that size
6inch might be outdated in the near future )
