Maybe more so with the black version but i dont think it looks half as bad with white Xperia S.

Thanks Rog for your photos and unboxing, some forum members really do appreciate the work you put in to give us sneak previews!

I was me asking about the landscape photos

Scaled up there are nice, but on 100% crop there is still quite a bit of compression and I can't really see much improvement in image quality over the Arc. The file sizes are still pretty small at 2mb for a 12mb image.

On the plus side, focus is nice and colours are good, I just wish Sony would let us control the compression.

I think, its 9mp not 12mp

Yep, was set to 16:9 which means 9MP

There's nothing remotely wrong with the photos, just a little bit noisy when at 100%, but then I suppose you don't tend to view them fully cropped.

Any change of some landscapes at 12mb rog? Many thanks.
