Good enough for me
CES 2008 was really good from SE, IMO. I really like the W760 and the W350 is a nice phone too. Maybe we'll see twiggy, the Z555 successor and the W380 successor this year? |

I think that could be said of all the manufacturers. I'm expecting great stuff from SE, Nokia, and Samsung at MWC this year. |

I hope a lot of things are shown like the twiggy the sucessor to F305 and some other stuff. All those that i mentioned could lead me to waiting 5-6 months for a decent phone. I hate you R300 i really hate you. |

Why the *** did you buy R300? One of the most crappy SE phones ever, IMO |

I might be wrong, but wasn't Twiggy supposed to be the successor of w350 and not F305 ?
For CES I hope SE comes up with some nice looking W phone! Haven't been a big fan of the latest designs, Kate and Filippa look boring, maybe in another colour different than Black, Grey or white they will look better.

I think, se_love meant it as a enumerating.
He meant - so i think - twiggy, the successor of f305, etc...

Yeah i tend to skip the commas a lot of the times. Also i did not buy it. I had no cell phone and out of generosity my friend-no my best friend, sorry-gave it to me. I really dont mind i mean sure im bored shitless with it but it does the job till the w705. Its either wait or spend 50 euros to fix my screen and by the time i can get it back i could buy the 705. Anyway twiggy does sound nice and tempting but it means more time to wait. Its really a hard year when it comes to deciding what phone to buy when SE really has a wow factor this big coming in. |

"What's the need?" It's a Cyber-shot phone and therefore it gets camera-centric features regardless of price point? Smile Detection would set it apart from other low-mid phones that don't (therefore you answered your own question)? SE can do what they please? Which answer are you wanting?

if it says cyber-shot on it then it must be some kind of digital camera masterpiece (which is far from it)
instead of building crappy midrange cameras with bling bling settings (well not so many, just this and another stupid shutter thing) they should think on developing the high end ones. i bet they'll charge and arm and a leg for it, their prices have started rivalling with nokia's...which is madness |

Actually, I'd tend to agree with you there. Unfortunately, the Cyber-shot range includes, and will probably continue to include, both mid-range and high-end offerings. Even though, arguably, Cyber-shots should include only high-end phones since the cameras are supposed to be above and beyond standard phone cameras. Supposedly.
That said, I believe the C915 will be a very top-end phone as deserving of the brand. That's what I'm waiting for, I believe.

I guess you can wait a while, then.
I'm really eager to know what kind of high-end phone they are going to show at the MWC. Hope Hikaru is not the best one. |
