When using Bluespoon theres no need to put your T68i into "automatic" mode,..as this function will only work with Ericsson/SE headsets,...NOT with other headset-brands or other bluetooth devices.

Not true. The Motorola headset (Jabra BT100) work fine with the T68i and T68m set in automatic mode. The only function which requires the phone in "on" mode is placing a voice recognition initiated call from the headset (e.g. the T68x's Bluetooth receiver must be on to pick up on the button press on the headset).
So there....

I heard a week ago that they weren't getting any for about 28 days at least, I also missed out but I managed to get one off ebay, it was delivered next day and it works perfectly. Someone has got one on at the moment at £235 which isnt bad if you dont want to wait. We all know how long it took Expansys to finally get the first shipment out.

I hope this helps you |

one gets the impression that they are making extremely small batches right now. And most of the ones they are making are probably going to nearby distributors, as well as the hundreds of places that probably want a review sample.
Hopefully production gets into full swing sometime in early November. |

jmpage2, you are problaby right. I cancelled my order at Expansys because I was really tired of waiting. I went to a local reseller here in Copenhagen and after only 3 days I got my own Bluespoon. I assume it is easier to get attention if you can go to Gentofte and nock at the door. |

As I also mentioned before,..we´re not that big a company,..we do not have the production-capability of e.g. Plantronics, Nokia,...Nextlink´s a LOT smaller,..and yes, at the same time, a lot of preordered headsets have to be delievered first,..and of course also the ones for the magazines for reviews,...and yes, theres a lot too
We would love to send a lot more units out on the market at once,..but its simply not possible,..at least not at the moment.
But we are of course working our buts off for you people, hehe...
and we love it !!
There are of course a lot of orders here in DK, they have to be fullfilled too,..and also the ones for the swedish distributor,..and Expansys in UK as well.
Theres not much point in "knocking on Nextlinks door", as the orders will be transferred/fullfilled at our distributor Pilcon.Dk., at least when you are here in Denmark.
Nextlink cant possibly handle both internal and foreign orders,..we have to use the distributors for that,..just as with any other company.
Production is coming along as fast as possible,..I can assure everyone that we are more than "busy" making Spoons
---------------------------------------------------------
About the "automatic bluetooth-mode",..yes you´re right,..it seems to work with some headsets and some phones.
I was also told by a person, that his Bluespoon worked in auto-mode too,..thats nice.
Some seem to be able to get this to work,..others dont,..it could also have something to do with the phone-software,...but I dont really know.
Voice-functions will only work in ON-mode,..even with original SE headsets and phones.
Regards

I don't see your auctions listed. Please provide the URL.
I certainly wouldn't want to send payment to someone who could not deliver the merchandise. Lots of scams for BS will probably result from the hype and desire many ppl have to get one early. |

I bought my BS off this guy, I got it a day after payment! Just type in Bluespoon in the search panel on the ebay web site (www.ebay.co.uk) and they will come up.
Hope this is of help to you all, forget waiting for expansys, he he |

According to this post

BS now comes in black? Jan, any chance of getting more info on this? I would much rather have something black than silver and blue, maybe Expansys can change my order if a black BS is available. now. |

JMPAGE > Hehe,..this Howard seems to know a lot, hehe.
Actually I did try the black one,..so yes it does exist,...looks the same as the BLUE one,..only all black.
I did speak about these different spoons quite a long time ago,..and as we get along, different ones will eventually pop up
Also ones with patterns, different designstyles, and so on.

Well, I just told Expansys to cancel my order for BS. They know nothing about black BS (and are apparently too busy to make a call to nextlink to inquire about it), and now that it's available that is definitely the color I would want, as it's a little more "businesslike" for my corporate environment.
If anyone has any ideas of a place of where I can get one (eventually) please let me know.
Thanks. |

jmpage2, you'll be waiting a long time. Nextlink have still got to fully lauch the normal silver BS. I hope you can wait (I couldnt), I don't think it will be out for at least 2/3 months. I could live without my BS now that I have one |

I think someone on another forum is already getting a black one from a vendor who is in Denmark or Finland... so I suspected from this that they are already in production.
If I am going to spend $250 or more USD then I will wait a while to get the model that works best for me.
I appreciate the fact that it is an indespensible piece of kit tho, wish I had one for long ass conference call today while in the car!

I know what you mean, but if this person has one (and maybe he does or doesnt) then I think they will be even harder to get hold of. |
