Santini, I see your point...maybe you're right;
Anyway it's not that important..... sooner or later we'll get tired of Bjacking and it won't really matter....

@girigiom: OR NOT... perhaps we can only make that assumption in "if" land who's to say that we're not seeing the birth of a phenomenon?... everybody's got a cellular phone these days and everybody likes f*cking around with other people, right? besides i think creating a site could spread more effectively the word of ajack (take it easy, dude!), than here at an esato topic... it was probabbly a big coincidence for many bluejackers to even find this topic... maybe even u and me! think about it.
@santini (got u're name now! ): i think we had to listen what ajack had to say like shithappens stated... he was the one that got all of us playing pranks in the first place... i wouldn't think of bluejacking myself, i don't know about the lot of u... he's not gonna tie u up, so...
do what u please... but try to stick with the concept we share here at esato, ok? it would be sad to see bluejacking turning into something other than what it really is...
tell me when it's ready and i'll take a peep!

Of course! My mistake.... i meant "if".....
The pure essence of it is having fun, as already mentioned various times on this thread, so let's enjoy it, share our stories and what will be, will be!

Bloody hell...
Websites, user guides, long-winded debates on the ethics of bluejacking??!?
For f**k's sake people, all you're doing is sending messages to people!
Of course it's highly amusing and rewarding, but come on, YOU'RE ONLY SENDING MESSAGES.
I think some of you on here should lighten up, stop sending "Nokia SUCKS!!!" messages, get a sense of humour and start with the proper terrorisation. Shithappens has got the right idea... try to confuse, amuse and just plain have jokes with the person that's come up on your screen after a discover. Not send sad messages telling them that their phone is shit.
Oh well, time for another line of ketamine... |

I would like to take a quick'n'dirty poll:

Participation would be greatly appreciated
@fannypad
Ethics and debates ain't my topic A website is.
People set up websites about all kinds of stuff. Setting up websites is as much a hobby as bluejacking. Or not, depending on your definition of a hobby.
I remember seeing some site about Walmart receipts, where visitors would comment on the purchases. Where's the sense in that?

@fannypad:
it's like this: when u're "serious" about having fun... the whole process of fun must be dessicated properly. we must discuss it like it's a national issue, dude... but (hey!) - don't get me wrong - i'm sure there's a lot of important debatable questions for u in any other topic right around here somewhere, friend!!!!!
here's one 4 u: i heard London bridge is falling down... wanna check that out and then get back to me on the issue?
(just pulling u're leg - don't take it seriously, ok? )

hello, anyone out there try this trick?
create a "note" Free drinks, just by showing us your mobile phone at the counter. And use any local cafe's name as the sender, eg. Starbucks Coffee or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf or Coffee Club...whatever you want it to be.

@Playahata Welcome to the forum dude. Yeah we gotta hook up again this weekend and go jackin' Brighton for real. Plenty of busy shopping areas, pubs, train station etc, will be fun!!
Just been paid too so u know i gotta get them AI's coz apparently all u need is a pair of these nuttin else!
Oh yeah one more thing.......
@wapmanse you had better not shorten jackin' to 'BJ' because a BJ means something totally different (you get me?!?)

At the airport now. Score 2 4 Shithappens, 0 4 2 bricks. Printed the free drinks message n hung round the cafe but no takers. Guess they're all in a trance like most brick users are. Haha.

@loonee
Like your idea of free drink etc...
Since i have had most luck in the mobile phone shops how about a message saying 'free years insurance with any mobile' or 'buy one, get one free - any phone' or even '£300 cash back on any phone' that should cause a bit of fun/confusion!
