Well i don't know who would praise se pricing policy, by what i have gathered by the article is that SE promised in June to drop there prices to make them competitive, but as we all know that doesn't appear to have happened, apparentley it only happened to the W205 
The W995 was introduced here at a price quite a bit less than what the C905 was introduced at. The C905 and the W705 have underwent a decent price revision as well. |

i have nothing factual to add:
sony doesnt care if you can afford it or not, at least thats how they used to operate as recently as the PS3 (and some small production specialty speakers) but the value that you get from a genuine product that has some foresight/thought in it, as far as ease of use and integration into the home, home network, and home electronic devices would go a long way to sell this phone based on things ppl use, im finding that ppl are holding on to apple because of the appstore, which isnt so much the phone as it is the platform. more so than apple or some of the other companies, sony is in a few homes a few times over (PS3, TV, Computers which are now wirelessly networked in a % of homes), they should use that to their advantage, making sure their software can communicate effectively with other devices from the same manufacturer, even OTHER manufacturers forget proprietary, just go for the neck!
if youve followed SE at all for the past few years, eldar has quite obviously taken a different tone it was a dramatic change. either he was really hurt by their lack of innovation (which usually takes a few years to become as bitter as he sounds), or their relationship changed, its imperative to take his notes with a spoonful of sodium chloride. |

SE did drop the prices in JUNE! i´m a Swedish reseller and they dropped prices on several models.

@se_dude hey dont propogate rumors, first there was a poorly translated passage, and secondly it has to do with the business of SE as far as their 2Q is concerned ... no word of a legit reveal anytime soon. |

Out of curiosity which phones have had a price drop, by resarching i have only found the W705 which had resonable price drop and that is it.

Regarding the M-R article.
The part about the pricing of SE is for Russia only!
Eldar writes that specifically at the end of the paragraph.
Another thing he mentions is that "a price" will be similar to the price of HTC HD.
But it's not clear if it's about the price of the Android Xperia or of a Samsung Android phone.

Regarding Kiki, I get the feeling it is a non smartphone. SE positioned the Xperia brand as a premium one and said that the Xperia devices 'are NOT tied to a certain Os'...
Could this be a premium phone a la the 88 series to rival Nokia?

yea technically, but they never actually made it out like the white ones did, the 10 person dl was met and these didnt make it out in a subsequent pack. |
