Is there an online version of that article?

Care to tell us in what areas exactly does Shiho win this fight? Because I'm seriously considering C905 and i8510 for the New Year.

streaming youtube on A2 phones is quite new.
G705 is the first SE A2 phone who comes with built-in YouTube integration, enabling you to upload and download YouTube videos directly.
i think c905 (branded or not) have issues to stream youtube becuase it lack this last function g705 has. (it also to fresh/buggy)
What are you talking about? You don't need integrated YouTube to stream video. 's have streamed video over 3G networks for at least 2 years. All you need is a browser.
qoute: "G705 is the first SE A2 phone who comes with built-in YouTube integration, enabling you to upload and download YouTube videos directly".
(i know you can watch small, compressed youtube-videos on older phones, that wasnt my point), my point was, that you can upload/download videos via your cellphone, it also gives you better & faster connection to youtube, (which many c905 DONT HAVE).
thats why i said c905 probably should work better if it had G705 new youtube function. (sounds very relevant in my ears)

To be specific, maybe the G705's special YouTube client allows it to run streamed videos more smoothly. --> is this what you were trying to say?

I did read the text, and you have to understand you don't need a built in application in order to stream video. I had YouTube streaming on my K810i no problem.
I'm trying to run streaming over my browser, so I don't understand how talking about YouTube applications on the G705 has anything to do with my problem.

C905 wins because it take better photos in the dark, take best phots in macro mode and have a good spectra of colors. Smart contrast makes the phone a little bit better but sometimes it does make the pictures worse. Settings for the camera is easy to acces, they also like geotagging and possibilety to upload pictures to blogger and other sites.

The G705 has HSUPA, which aside from the camera unit is the only software difference between it and C905 to be honest.

Guys I'm in a little bit of a dilemma. I live in the US and have been patiently waiting for the c905a to come out to be able to use AT&T 3G. I keep looking Online for a release date of the c905a but there is no official date. I want this phone really bad but I don't want to wait to much longer. What would you guys do? |

Well i'm now on my 3rd C905. The last one decided today the earphone was going to break. Sounded like a car speaker when they blow was really quite loud!
I was 1 day out of my 28 day guarantee at CPW and they let me have a replacement.
3rd time lucky i hope! I am beginning to HATE this phone, which is a really sad thing to say because i really do want to like this phone.

People have asked for photos of the scratches the sliding mechanism causes on Black C905 keypads. Here's a photo of mine after 2 weeks relatively careful use. In normal use it's not obvious unless looking for it; I had to take the photo at an angle to the light to show it up at all.
Whilst I'm at it I want to ask if anybody else is having great problems with the E-mail function. I have 4 different pop3 accounts, on 2 different providers, and find that I can't get my email most of the time on all of them. This is the same with connecting via Vodafone GPRS or via WiFi. I'm running generic R1BA042.
Sometimes on selecting "check email" it flicks through instantly to "no new mail found" even without using the GPRS connection (out of WiFi areas). Sometimes it does the "finding server" thing then flicks through to the "no new mail found" message, even though there is mail there. Sometimes I get a "server message" which is blank:
which it then follows with a "Cannot connect to server" message.
All of which means that most of the time it won't collect my mail.
Sometimes, randomly, it will, either first time or on repeated attempts with the above problems. Then it gets the headers and the emails as it should with no problems. However this happens for me only infrequently.
When I do manage to get email in the phone's email inbox, if I do a "receive email" and get the "no new mail" notification as listed above, the existing emails stay in the inbox and can be read even if they've been deleted off the server using my PC or whatever.
It's all very vexing, and is the main thing I don't like about the phone - the other things being poor battery life, camera not quite as good as I would have liked (colours), and the very poor GPS reception. I'm considering giving the phone up due to my email problems.
I've completely reset the phone, and reflashed it with firmware, and still it does it.
I've ordered IMAP email from one of my providers to see if the phone deals with this better than pop3, but I'm wondering if other people have problems collecting email from pop3 for their phones, and of any potential solutions?

Just noticed I have scuff marks in exactly the same places as in your photo's there. Dammit!
I'm due a replacement anyway next week, that will probably have the same issue. Suppose I'll have to live with it.

It's really weird how the phone gets those scratches. I mean, isn't the top part supposed to be raised 1-2mm in order to avoid just that? I can clearly see the gap there.
