hey killer master, get bose IE3(inner ear) headphones, they got high bass, so you wont miss out mega bass.
I did that for my n96, since i was missing mega bass too.
Bose. Meh. Killer Master, what you want is some of these. Or perhaps these. You've never heard of them before? Just because you've never heard of them it doesn't mean that Sony, or even Bose, are better. You have probably never heard of them before because they are usually used by professional musicians. But that doesn't mean that people like us can't have the absolute best sound there is.
Oh, and ignore the Logitech logo. It means nothing. Logitech bought them recently, but Logitech won't be influencing the quality of UE's products at all (unless they are REALLY dumb).
I would personally go with shure, UE are good and coslty as well. Bose is in an ok range with higher bass(in that range), so bass lovers usually like bose sound, and he missed mega bass, and yeah elite,
You should as well know that sony and UE cannot be compared as their target and price are totally different.
Sorry guys for going OT.

They are getting ready for a big launch of the product on 30 September as per their announcement.
Maybe they are busy building a time machine too. |

128MB for CPU/3D doesn't make any technical sense whatsoever. |

LOL
I hope so, and I hope I can join them because I can't wait to get my hands on the X1, eventhough I'm not a Windows-fanboy...
But what about that 128MB graphics memory!? Why would a phone use this amount of memory just for graphics?
My computer is having a 64MB 3D-graphicscard. Okay, according to today's standards it isn't something you will win the newest games with, but it's good enough to play i.e. Max Payn, Far Cry or Battlefield with an acceptable quality at 1024x768/24bit. Why would somebody put 128MB in a device with 'only' 800x480/16bit!?
In my opinion it doesn't make any sense, only if it is a device made to be played with like a PSP.

Maybe they have in minda releasing some "excelent" games for this X1... you never know ...
That could be an excelent reason and a great excuse ... |

the 128MB RAM argument is just pure speculation by those who don't really understand the hardware architecture.
Either X1 has 384MB or 256MB as the total RAM pool, it certainly doesn't have any main RAM dedicated to video. It may or may not have dedicated vram but if it does it will be in a different pool to that of RAM.

the thread at xda developers a guy had opened it up and can find only one chip.
Actually on that thread quite a few posters are saying that the X1 is very fast in normal operation (ie: not using panels) and that most of the panels aren't too bad with only one or two being real slow.
I'm liking the X1 more and more, I can defo see this being my nextr WM device.

Which leaves another question, when did the dissection take place?

Anyone know how to get rid of the panels completely? Uninstall is enough?
The panels sucks compared to running Xperia with "spb mobile shell" and "spb pocket plus". And the X-panel button could be mapped for better use..
It's a remarkable difference in response time when not running panels.
Gotta love the phone and all it features, but the panels are poorly implemented and doing more harm than use for users and SE. |

Well. You don't know before you try and find out yourself, or?
Rest of the phone is just amazing. |

because of the design, form factor (the curved slide is pretty cool and useful), good specs (okay okay so it doesn't have VGA video, who freakin' cares.... ), 3.5mm jack (many WM have usb mini or 2.5mm), fast processor.
Apparently the orientation change is fast (most WM in my experience are a it laggy at this), and running shells faster than touch Flo I've also heard.
Even the design alone is enough given that the phone is generally on par (or better) with other WM phones spec-wise. If you like the design of the handset (looks and ergonomics) then why not the X1?

Cause it's the best looking, smallest, and fastest WM6.1 device with a keyboard. |
